Following Vice President JD Vance’s rally in Fairbanks for the reelection of Senator Dan Sullivan and Rep. Nick Begich, President Donald J. Trump will be coming to Wasilla to speak at a midterm rally on Tuesday, October 13.

Vance’s speech had focused on Sullivan’s record including legislation to advance energy, military, and fishing protections. He contrasted Sullivan’s work with Peltola’s lack of bills signed into law and low vote attendance rate. He also highlighted Peltola support of boys playing in girls’ sports, open border policies, and opposition to resource development.
Senator Sullivan has served Alaskans in the Senate since 2015. His main challenger, Mary Peltola, served one term in the U.S. House of Representatives and then lost her reelection bid.
