Fourth illegal recall petition pops up in Palm Springs

A fourth illegal site for collecting recall signatures has popped up in Palm Springs, California.

Dawn Sadler of Fairbanks is looking for people to sign in the Palm Springs area, as well as Arizona, and Las Vegas, Nevada, where she’ll be traveling to collect more illegal signatures to recall the governor of Alaska, Mike Dunleavy.

She is in possession of petition booklet #62.

The Recall Dunleavy group has removed its official “roving” Arizona signature-gatherer, Mike Garner, from its published list but it appears the efforts to collect signatures in Arizona are continuing in spite of the group’s official stance.

The paid director of the group, Meda DeWitt, shared her approval with Sadler on Facebook:

Must Read Alaska reported on Friday of the Arizona illegal activity, and on Saturday morning of the signatures being gathered in Oregon and Hawaii:

Latest comments

  • They have to cheat to win.

    • Probably the best comment on the last 3 years of American politics and the current situation in Alaska.

      Well said.

  • Will they be reaching out internationally soon??..May be to China or India….large populations there with no knowledge of what might be going on in Alaska

  • Ya, whoever said “All politics is local”?

  • If this signature gathering is not legal, but it continues despite that knowledge, I’d think the entire campaign should be, as they say these days, “cancelled”

  • Suzanne, thank you so much for all your hard work. I sure hope people are paying attention! Can’t thank you enough.

  • They need to be jailed. Are we just going to stand around here twiddling our fingers and allow this to happen? Bryce Edgmon walked into a teacher meeting last August and said if the governor doesn’t get in line then he was going to kick him out.

  • The wealthy elites think they own Alaska, just like DC. Makes total sense they would seek to get these petitions into their favorite parts of the country..Where they probably spend most of their time deciding Alaska’s fate for Alaskans..

    • Lawrence,
You said: “Where they probably spend most of their time deciding Alaska’s fate for Alaskans..”
Doesn’t Clark Penny live close to Palm Springs…and wasn’t he just given a fat contract to influence top Alaskans?

      • If you really want ALL Alaskans to have a say- hold this recall vote in November. Do it when you’ll get the highest turnout of actual Alaskans. Otherwise- this is exactly what it looks like; a coalition of sore losers, corrupt politicians, leftist bureaucrats and the wealthy special interests that own them all, trying to get a do over because a grown up who stands for Alaskans actually got elected.

      • Not even a comparison.

      • That has zero bearing on the topic at hand.

  • Boom

  • Stand Tall for Mike needs to go to court and have these illegal petitions removed and the Recall Dunleavy group admonished for violating’s Alaska Statute. This illegal activity needs to be addressed and those in charge of the group barred by the Alaska Bar Association.

    • The more court challenges there are, the later the recall election is scheduled. If the unions keep this up, November is looking pretty good. And if the courts don’t allow it, perhaps Dunleavy can take the $1.8 million cost of the special election out of their budget as a last love tap on his way out of town. Cheers –

  • No relation, I assure you.

  • This must be fake news because I just checked the ADN and there was no mention of illegal petitioning.

    • They also buried the article about the petition signing parties all across the state (and in other states), sounds like they didn’t get the turnout they were hoping for. According to the article in ADN Claire Pywell the campaign manager for Recall Dunleavy said it would be “incredible” to get all the required signatures this weekend…
It doesn’t look promising that they are going to get the 71,252 signatures this weekend, even with illegal out of state collecting going on.

    • LOL!

    • Erak……duh…….that’s why you read MRAK…… anybody upstairs at Erak’s?And don’t forget to send Suzanne a large donation.

  • Opportunity seems ripe for an “Operation Chaos”.
No telling how many “signatures” enterprising operatives could contribute…
Remember, the Great Alaska LeDoux Vote Experiment shows signatories don’t even have to be alive.
Might be fun if Project Veritas, started asking around who’s getting paid to do what to whom…

  • Let’s thank the “idiot” judges put on the bench by Parnell and Walker. They don’t know which shoe to tie first, let alone how the law works.

  • These efforts to throw state elections are taken from the playbooks of union elections. Union bosses have been cheating in union elections for decades. The reason:. To control the purse strings and remain in control of the membership. Nothing new here. What the general population doesn’t understand is that there is very little consequence to getting caught cheating. At most, an election could become invalidated, but hardly ever does, unless it can be proven that the outcome of the election was affected by the cheating. Therefore, Democrats will always try and cheat. SOP.

    • Can’t the FBI get involved, Tom?

  • Has this been reported to the Division of Elections. Do you have the booklet numbers? Hopefully Some Alaskans visiting the lower 48 will report this.

  • I am sending emails to Gail Fenumial (Director of Elections), Kevin Clarkson (Atty General), and Sharon Forrest (Administrative Officer, Elections). I have included the connections of all the people involved, and I hope others are doing the same. We will keep fighting the fight, and will come out victorious.
