Ballots will be in the mail next week for a special Anchorage municipal election in Assembly District 4 that concludes Tuesday, Oct. 26, 2021, to determine whether Assembly Member Meg Zaletel, of District 4 Seat F, should be recalled.
Zaletel is the prime sponsor of an ordinance that requires masking of all in Anchorage over the age of 2. That ordinance will be the subject of a public hearing on Tuesday at the Assembly’s regular meeting, which starts at 5 pm in the Loussac Library, ground floor.

Recall ballot packages will be mailed to qualified Anchorage voters in District 4, 21 days before Election Day, Oct. 26, 2021.

It is important for your address information in the voter registration database to be current. The last day to register to vote in this special election was Sunday, Sept. 26.
