A Veterans Career Fair will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 10, 2026, from 1 to 4 p.m., at the Muldoon Family Center (a.k.a. Muldoon Mall), located at 1251 Muldoon Road in Anchorage. Nearly 50 employers, education and training providers, and registered apprenticeship programs are expected to participate.

The Career Fair is designed to connect veterans, military spouses and other Alaskans with employment and training opportunities. Representatives from federal, state and municipal agencies, along with employers in key industries such as construction, healthcare, oil and gas, finance and transportation, will be available.

“Alaska’s veterans and military families bring unparalleled dedication, skills, and leadership to our workforce,” said Commissioner Catherine Muñoz of the Alaska Department of Labor and Workforce Development (DOLWD). “We are proud to support their transition into meaningful careers and to partner with employers who recognize the tremendous value these individuals contribute to our state and the workforce.”

DOLWD remains committed to supporting Alaska’s transitioning service members, military spouses and veterans by helping them secure meaningful, long-term employment. Veterans bring exceptional strengths to the workplace, including leadership, teamwork, dependability, integrity and the ability to perform under pressure.

This event is free and open to the public. Job seekers are encouraged to dress professionally for potential interviews and bring copies of their resume.
