Beyond Burisma: Joe Biden was paid $200K from a brother who was sent $200K from Americore on same day

U.S. House Oversight Chair Rep. James Comer, R-Ky., released bank records Friday that he says show a $200,000 direct payment to President Joe Biden, the latest and possibly most significant piece of evidence in the ongoing investigation into the Biden family and associates’ business dealings and the president’s alleged role in them.

Biden has repeatedly denied benefiting from the overseas business dealings, which total well over $20 million in payments, according to IRS whistleblowers. He has not yet responded to this latest piece of evidence.

“A document that we’re releasing today raises new questions about how President Biden personally benefited from his family’s shady influence peddling of his name and their access to him,” Comer said in the announcement.

The document is a copy of a check apparently from James Biden, Joe Biden’s brother, to the president. Comer said there is significant evidence that the Biden family and associates received millions of dollars in payments from an array of overseas entities, but whether that money ever made it to the president has been in question.

Comer said this check could show it did.

”In 2018, James Biden received $600,000 in loans from Americore – a financially distressed and failing rural hospital operator,” Comer said. “According to bankruptcy court documents, James Biden received these loans ‘based upon representations that his last name, Biden, could open doors and that he could obtain a large investment from the Middle East based on his political connections.’”

Comer went on to say that money later went to James and Sara’s personal account.

“On March 1, 2018, Americore wired a $200,000 loan into James and Sara Biden’s personal bank account – not their business bank account,” Comer said. “And then on the very same day, James Biden wrote a $200,000 check from this same personal bank account to Joe Biden. James Biden wrote this check to Joe Biden as a ‘loan repayment,’” he added. “Americore – a distressed company – loaned money to James Biden who then sent it to Joe Biden.

“Even if this was a personal loan repayment, it’s still troubling that Joe Biden’s ability to be paid back by his brother depended on the success of his family’s shady financial dealings,” he added.

Now the committee is pressing for answers on the terms of this financial arrangement and if there were more like it.

“Does [Biden] have documents proving he lent such a large sum of money to his brother and what were the terms of such financial arrangement?” Comer said. “Did he have similar financial arrangements with other family members that led them to make similar large payments to him? Did he know that the same day James Biden wrote him a check for $200,000, James Biden had just received a loan for the exact same amount from business dealings with a company that was in financial distress and failing?”

As The Center Square previously reported, IRS whisteleblowers, previous bank records and FBI documents have been presented in recent months by the committee showing that the Biden family and associates received more than $20 million from entities in several countries, including China, Russia and Ukraine.

The Climate Crisis is Here: Tell President Joe Biden to Declare a Climate Emergency!
      by MoveOn

We can’t wait any longer. We need to decrease our dependence on fossil fuels—and as a result, decrease our support for greedy, corporate execs—to create new infrastructure that promotes a green, renewable energy future, with good jobs for people across the nation.

Pray tell how we will support Alaska’s Bloated Government in this far left Political Radicalism?

      • I don’t know but I do know that impeachment investigations are bad for the climate.
And isn’t Jim Biden creating green jobs? That’s what we should really be looking at here instead of trying to impeach someone because his son is a drug addict.

        • And, for every “green” job created in the US, how many jobs are created in countries selling us the materials we need for our “green” jobs? And, let’s not forget, these countries that are benefitting are also the worst polluters.

    • Your contemptible and willfully ignorant apologies for official corruption at the highest level of government is beyond revolting.

You radical leftist extremists truly have no principles and no moral whatsoever, that is, beyond the never-ending pursuit and exercise of raw, naked power. Satan is not deep down in the earth somewhere, he walks among us, in the guise of beasts such as yourself.

      • Face it buddy, the sooner you realize that Trump and MAGA are a losing hand, the better off you’ll be.

This fishing expedition has been going on for too long now, I’ve got blue balls waiting for something substantial to come from Comer, and it never does.

The Republicans are guided by fear, which is what will eventually destroy their party. They’re afraid that they’re losing control of this country, and it’s true, the Republicans refuse to evolve and they will lose even more power if they don’t find a message that appeals to someone other than old, white MAGA people.

I’m so sorry that you’re so scared Jeff, but it will be all right, I promise, little guy.

    • Actually, that was Bill Ingval. Foxworthy was “you might be a red neck”

But you point is correct and stands.

  1. These are fairly wealthy people. Is it impossible that Joe legitimately lent his brother $200,000? Why is Joe’s fault that his brother got a loan to repay him?

    • Good question.
And, unanswered questions are where an investigation starts. Not a conclusion.
Someone needs to investigate this. While it is not impossible, the odds of this transaction happening via personal check are slim to none, and it does make one question.
      .
      Do not dismiss, investigate.

      • An interesting side note:

Joe Biden lives in a house that that his historical income stream wouldn’t have allowed him to buy.

    • How does a career public servant get rich enough to own multiple houses and be able to float loans this size?

Explain that in a logical way, I’ll entertain your concept.

      • So far, the biggest Biden family scandals are that Joe answers his phone when his son calls, and his brother pays back loans. I can see how after nearly a decade of Trump, Republicans see that as an atrocity.

        • Trump has been impeached and indicted for less.
Answering the phone is not the issue. What was said on the phone call is.
Paying back a loan is not the problem. The source of funds to pay back that loan is.
          .
But, why question anything that seems… iffy. Especially when your political party is in winning because of it. Perhaps if you applied the same lens to Trump the US would be in a much less divided state.

      • He made piles of money, as shown here. $200k is not a huge amount for someone earning lots of money and owning homes free and clear. The $200k is not the issue. How he earned $10MM in 2017-2018 is indeed a question but it is unrelated to the $200k. This $200k is a distraction and makes people look foolish for investigating.

      • Insider trading, inflated speaking fees and book deals. Biden, for example, earned over $30 per copy sold of his most recent book. Of course, much of that income came ftom speaking gigs on his book tour, but we can read the scoreboard.

Such washing of bribes, if we are being blunt, is incredibly common. We, the citizenry, will only be able to do something about it when we stop being partisanly selective about our outrage. If you can’t find a political ally to criticise over this behavior – you aren’t really trying for change.

  2. My God, the whole family is disease ridden with greed and corruption. The Bidens are the world’s best example of genetic psychopathy. They should all be locked in cages at a zoo and studied for the sake of science.

  3. Way too busy funding the wars caused by the dementia-ridden, senile, hair sniffing, diaper filling patient to address major big money fraud by the highest office holder in what was once America.

  4. While it’s good to make this all pubic, the truth is in the end it won’t matter.

A Democrat President will never be impeached by a Democrat majority senate. And more than a few Republicans will join them.

Democrats have discipline. Republicans are incapable of it.

The best outcome we can realistically hope for is Biden becomes such a political liability he is sidelined before the next election. But that’s doubtful.

  5. Not really proof of anything other than a family member repaid a loan. If that’s a crime we are all in trouble,

Then tell us if You believe or disbelieve crimes were and still are being committed by the biden crime family….

  6. Corruption is so common in the swamp that they don’t usually bother being sneaky. I recall a news article years ago where Feinsteins husband received millions of dollars in “consulting fees” from the Chinese rare earth industry. Around this time the Mountain Pass rare earth mine in California had it’s processing plant closed down, and the ore was shipped to China.

  7. Anyone else notice that as more and more evidence of Sloppy Joe’s corruption comes to light, the World becomes more & more embroiled in turmoil and crisis? Sloppy Joe is literally a loose cannon!

    • Fish: that’s like saying every time I eat a poached egg, Atlanta is over 90 degrees. No causation and no correlation. And, when you use the word”literally “, what follows must be accurate in fact. Biden is NOT literally an iron weapon.

  8. Greg – A clear description of Joe Biden’s political career. If he is innocent as so many commenters indicate, a good leader would easily be able to provide the original contract / loan papers to dispel such accusations. Then one could truthfully say “nothing to see here, move along”, without such documentation, using the current standard as set by the dealings with the previous President, he is guilty as hell. Again, what’s good for the goose is good for the gander, one standard should apply to all, especially politicians. – Cheers

    • JM – Biden wasn’t President at time of this transaction. He most likely will provide details of transaction. But perhaps he’ll release it only if re-elected President, along with his taxes.

      • He most likely will provide the details of the transaction? Do you really think that?
I doubt it. I doubt it to the point I will place a bet. $100 says he never ponies up any documentation to confirm this was above board.
Want in? IF you are so sure, ante up.

          • Never heard of PayPal? Venmo? Are you really that clueless?
I am more than prepared to pay up.
However, I am pretty sure I will not have to. Com’n buddy. Put your money where your mouth is.
No details on the transaction, pay up.

  9. Pretty soon being a criminal isn’t going to be as cool as it use to be…just keep watching…humanity has had it!

      • Jefferson, or more likely a Bolschevik. VC however could just be your average garden variety America hating Democrat, but then calling him a Bolschevik would be redundant.

  10. Be a lot cooler if our adversaries just went ahead and kicked off WWIII starting with a surprise attack on DC big enough to wipe it off the map.

  11. I wouldn’t look at that vile pile for anything. I do notice they believe in keeping their personal coffers full up not drained like their policy for the US petroleum reserves. Who do they actually “work” for. President Trump refilled the petroleum reserves FOR us you may recall. Who is working for THIS nation?
