Kataluna Enriquez, a biological male, has beat 21 female contestants and is the new Miss Nevada USA. Enriquez will compete in the Miss USA pageant Nov. 29. Enriquez competed in the pageant at the South Point hotel-casino in Las Vegas on Sunday,

Enriquez, 27, is said to be the first transgender to ever compete for the national title.

For the Nevada competition, Enriquez wore a sequins gown of rainbow colors. Miss Nevada USA was born and raised in Las Vegas and began transitioning to female appearance at age 14. Enriquez is also the winner of the Miss Silver State pageant.

Madison Edwards was crowned Miss Alaska USA 2021 on May 8 at the Sheraton Anchorage Hotel & Spa during a virtual pageant event. Like Enriquez, she will compete for the national title at the Paradise Cove Theater of River Spirit Casino Resort in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

  1. A man in a bathing suit in a beauty contest. And a winner? This is a mental sickness that has permeated our society.

    • What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. Same thing for Nevada. Except for the Mormons, and possibly including the Mormon origins, Nevada has always been a progressive state. People can have more than one wife, legal prostitution, a city ran by the mob in fact founded by the mob, it’s always been kind of a bung hole of a state so this really comes as no surprise that they’re men make a pretty good woman.

  2. “Enriquez will compete in the Miss USA pageant Nov. 29.”

You know you’ll want to tune in out of morbid curiosity just to see what sort of trainwreck it turns out to be at the national level. ?

  3. Women are gradually being erased. Bathrooms, locker rooms, sports, and now beauty pageants. As a child of the 60s, I never saw this coming! What’s next? Try as they may, they will never be able to bear a child. Or will they…?

  4. Hilarious… hysterically funny…
    .
Of the 3.2 million people who live in Nevada, nearly half are women, biologically homogametic human beings.
    .
Apparently none of Nevada’s 1.6 million women had the requisite beauty, talent, or desire necessary to be “Miss Nevada USA” so judges were forced to choose a man instead.
    .
They could have called it “Misster Nevada USA” but they didn’t
    .
… which leaves us wondering just how far inclusivity goes when lots of money’s involved.
