Alaska Democrats double down with sexual identity politics as platform for fundraising

The Alaska Democratic Party has a new fundraising pitch and it involves making sure kids in Alaska can get chemically castrated and surgically mutilated through transgender medical procedures, on demand.

The Democrats sent out their regular email request for funds, with this one focused on the problem of “the amount of anti-LGBTQ+ legislation has surged across the country, including right here in Alaska.”

By some measures, Alaska is one of the most gay-friendly states in the nation, says SafeHome.org, per the chart below. This is, perhaps, because of Alaskans’ “live and let live” attitudes. Or it may be because 32% of Alaskan adults are part of the “religious nones,” meaning they have no particular spiritual home, nor guidance from a set of religious doctrines.

This year, the Alaska Democrats say in their fundraising pitch, “Gov. Mike Dunleavy and his allies in the state legislature introduced several anti-LGBTQ+ bills aimed at undermining the rights and dignity of those most vulnerable among us.”

The phrase “most vulnerable among us” is often used by the Left to describe LGBTQ+ people in society, but is never used by the Left to describe unborn humans.

They point out H.B 183, which was offered by Rep. Jamie Allard, a bill designed to protect girl athletes from having boys take over their competitive sports, medals, and scholarships. The bill passed the House with no Democrats supporting girl athletes. It died in the Senate.

The Democrats are also upset about H.B 338, which would add liabilities to doctors who mutilate children as they remake their appearance to switch genders at a tender age. Children could come back and sue them when they reach adulthood. That bill died in the House.

And the Democrats are mad about H.B. 382, a parents’ rights bill that would “require teachers to alert parents if their child chooses to change their preferred pronouns, violating our student’s privacy, trust, and safety.” The bill died in the House.

“That’s why we’re working to secure a veto-proof majority and stand up for LGBTQ+ rights by promoting inclusive policies that make Alaska safer for everyone. Will you help us fight back and elect pro-LGBTQ+ champions across Alaska by chipping in $10 today?,” the Democrats ask in their fundraising letter, which is signed, “In solidarity.”

  1. Believe in nothing, fall for anything.

Nice fundraiser. Not content to kill kids, let’s mutilation the ones we forgot to abort.

  2. The worst thing about that particular crosswalk is, inevitably, someone drives over it and some snowflake gets triggered.

Street art is gonna get tire tracks. Especially with the Sealaska arts whatever next to it.

  3. Florida is probably the most homosexual friendly state in the union, yet it ranks 50th? That should tell you something about the credibility of the people making these rankings.

  4. I am sorry for being so ignorant, but it just escapes me how anyone can be so far detached from reality and still allowed to circulate in public.

    • Ak, the fact you are even sorry for being ignorant is an example of what the true problem is (hint: it is not that of the homosexuals). Just like the problem of crime is not that of the criminals. The problem with the drug addicts is not that of the addicts.

      • As you state below, I fail to understand how a person’s life is so defined by their sexuality. My only conclusion is that these people are so innately mentally deranged that they are both a danger to themselves and to society, and probably should be institutionalized sooner than later. Audrey Hale was a good example of how that could have spared seven lives, six of them innocent. If we truly care about people, preventing them from acting out their mental illness is the kind thing to do. As you state, it is not their sexuality, it is their very public acting out, too often ending in overt harm to themselves and others.

        • They would still have one foot in the closet though. I prefer totally in the closet because their antics weren’t as noticeable before bravery was confused for mental illness.

    • “…your leftists in the United States: all these professors and all these beautiful civil rights defenders. They are instrumental in the process of the subversion only to destabilize a nation. When their job is completed, they are not needed any more. They know too much. Some of them, when they get disillusioned, when they see that Marxist-Leninists come to power—obviously they get offended—they think that they will come to power. That will never happen, of course. They will be lined up against the wall and shot.” Yuri Bezmenov

  5. I think that it is about time to have gender altering surgery on the adults pushing this scenario on children. Who in the “altering world would be first? It would also be a “first ” for Alaska in the Nation.

    • I volunteer Forrest Dunbar, suzanne lafrance, elvi gray jackson, and chris constant as the first volunteers to be altered as adults.

  6. Imagine walking around with your principal identity being your sexuality. As if I would introduce myself as a heterosexual when meeting people? As if I am not primarily a man, or a husband, or a father, or a welder? Or countless other identities? Rather, I am primarily a heterosexual? What a preposterous way to go through life that would be. In summary, my sexuality is nobody else’s business and is irrelevant to my interaction with the world.

    • Actually Wayne your sexuality is an important element in Society. You are a man, one who provides, protects and defends, these are Masculine attributes and they should be celebrated.

      Embrace your manhood my son.

  7. I think that it is pretty interesting that the evil can put something on the ground and then get away with filing lawsuits against anyone that rides anything across that has wheels (skateboards, scooters, vehicles). Pretty soon, the left is going to paint all the streets and YOU will only be able to walk on those streets…if you are one of the privileged. Claiming a part of the pavement like this does not even make sense; but, then again, evil does not make sense. Welcome 1984.
