As part of its long-standing commitment to honoring and supporting our veterans and military community in Alaska, Nuvision Credit Union is partnering with American Legion Jack Henry Post 1 to host the credit union’s 8th annual Veteran’s Day Appreciation Luncheon. The event takes place Wednesday, November 11th, from 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm at American Legion Jack Henry Post 1 (840 W Fireweed Ln, in Anchorage).
The complimentary luncheon is expected to serve more than 300 meals, bringing together local veterans, active-duty military personnel and their guests for a special celebration of service, sacrifice and community. Attendees will have an opportunity to enjoy lunch, connect with fellow service members and be personally recognized for their contributions to our country.
As part of the celebration, Nuvision will present a $2,500 donation to American Legion Jack Henry Post 1 in support of its Veterans Health Summit, furthering efforts to provide valuable resources and support to Alaska’s veteran community.
“Veterans Day gives us an opportunity to personally thank the men and women who have answered the call to serve our country,” said Roger Ballard, CEO of Nuvision Credit Union. “We are honored to bring veterans, their families and our community together to recognize their service and sacrifices and remind them how much they mean to all of us.”
Through its community partnerships and annual appreciation events, Nuvision remains committed to honoring veterans, active-duty military personnel and their families throughout the communities it serves.
