Former President Donald Trump is unimpressed with the world’s richest individual, Elon Musk. At a Save America campaign rally in Anchorage on Saturday, Trump called the Tesla CEO a “bullshit artist.” He appeared to be responding to the news that Musk has pulled out of the deal to purchased Twitter outright.
“One of our highest priorities under a Republican Congress will be to stop left-wing censorship and to restore free speech in America,” Trump said at the rally that promoted Sarah Palin for U.S. House and Kelly Tshibaka for U.S. Senate.
“And go out, by the way while I’m here and sign up now, for Truth Social. It’s hot as a pistol and you see that I called that one right? Elon. Elon! Elon is not going to buy Twitter. Where did you hear that before? From me,” Trump said.
“He’s got himself a mess. You know, he said the other day, ‘I’ve never voted for a Republican.’ I said I didn’t know that. He told me he voted for me,” Trump relayed to the crowd at the Alaska Airlines Center on the campus of University of Alaska Anchorage. “So he’s another bullshit artist but he’s not going to be buying it [Twitter]. Although he might later. Who the hell knows what’s going to happen? He’s got a pretty rotten contract. I looked at his contract … not a good contract. Sign up for Truth. We love Truth.”
Musk pulled his offer last week to buy Twitter for $44 billion because there are an unknown number of fake accounts on the site and Twitter won’t come clean on the number. Musk also claims Twitter failed to comply with obligations outlined in the merger agreement. Twitter plans legal action to force the sale, and it appears the two sides will end up in court.
Musk may be a “bullshit artist,” but Trump is a “mouthy pauper.” Certainly, Trump can dig into his own pockets and pull out the 44 billion to purchase Twitter for himself! Trump does have that kind of chump change doesn’t he? He does, doesn’t he? Oh, yeah, Trump has now taken to peddling baseball caps to make it big as the “king of swag!” Musk doesn’t pretend to be wealthy: he can hire Trump as his personal porter and order him to stay out of sight and to use the back door!
I think we would all be better off if politicians used Suzanne’s comment section rules and stopped swearing so much. Just my opinion.

I think Elon Musk is a good guy and Trump (who is the greatest President in my lifetime) is taking it a little far in bashing Elon over Twitter and their spam bots in order to promote his own Truth Social site. The good news is that now that Twitter has brought a lawsuit against Elon for breach of contract they will be forced in court to expose how many Chinese and Russian spambots are on twitter. Which is all Elon was asking for in the first place.. It’s definitely going to be a popcorn watching event…
On a side note, I’m glad Trumps Alaska event went so well but a little sad that he has been bamboozled into supporting Sarah Palin. All these lower 48 folks have ever been exposed to regarding Sarah is her great speech in accepting the VP nomination with McCain and her Drill Baby Drill line.. But in Alaska she has proven what an empty shell and self promoting coo-coo she really is… Eventually she will be found out but probably only after causing some unneeded damage… God help us all…
Trump took to bashing Elon Musk late last week after Musk stated he had not voted Republican previously (but did just do so in the south Texas special congressional election), but was interested in Ron Desantis as a presidential candidate. Supporting Desantis is clearly the fastest way to end up on the outs with former President Trump.
As a former Trump supporter, I have to say that the man has lost his mind and his big mouth is shredding his credibility. Elon Musk is a genius with the moxie to see things through. I think Trump is jealous that he’s Small potatoes now

Tesla did NOT have Small Business Loans, Elon Musk got U.S. grants.

Elon Musk was funded to create a Tesla that people like me can never afford.
Elon Musk had the U.S. Federal government as his primary investor, an investor he never had to answer to or repay, i.e. grant.
Then he took the Tesla company public with a valuation with little to zero skin in the game by himself.
Now he is a billionaire.
