Toxic shock: Twitter’s former CEO says capitalists should be shot

Further evidence that Twitter is encouraging Marxism and violence against normal Americans came from its former CEO on Wednesday.

“Me-first capitalists who think you can separate society from business are going to be the first people lined up against the wall and shot in the revolution,” he tweeted. “I’ll happily provide video commentary.”

The message was not removed by Twitter management.

Costolo’s comment was in response to a discussion on whether social justice should be a goal of industry.

Few Alaskans use the Twitter social media platform, which is dominated by liberals.

  • Suzanne, you are one of a kind. You are a real journalist willing to get her hands dirty digging for the truth. Thank you for all you sacrifice every day to bring your readers the truth.

These violent people who hide behind Big Tech are cowards and not decent people. Thank you for letting the rest of us know what we are up against.

  • “Your ability to insult, threaten, and demean capitalists without consequence brought to you by capitalists who went before you and built a nation and economic engine that allows you to become rich in your own capitalistic business.”

  • In a Republic that holds as its central value, the defense of individual liberty, there is always room for individuals to band together and enact however much socialism they want. Unions, co-ops, communes, etc. The catch, is that they are limited in that they do not, necessarily, have the power to force that on their neighbors who are unwilling.

In a socialist/communist society it’s the complete opposite. The individual has few, if any protections, and they can be gobbled up by the collective, or by the whim of a political leader or bureaucrat, virtually at anytime.

In short, in our world, we make room for them. In their world, there is no room for us.. and what logically follows from that, is why this system killed 100 million last century alone.

    • Wow, that was a great response. Thanks.

  • What a piece of —. He is a capitalist who does more damage to lives than anybody but Bill Gates.

  • Socialists/leftists…today’s Borgs. “You will comply…resistance is futile”. (Trekies will get this comment).

    • Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

  • Costolo is fine with lining up conservatives and shooting them, as long as they can’t shoot back (like Gross and ‘his’ bear) . When people like him detest the country that allowed them to be what they are, they need to get out. China has lots of room for him and others like him. Americans shouldn’t even respond to a POS like him and other “elites” that hate America. They deserve to be treated like they would treat others.
Voting is soon. Don’t let Alaska and America down by not doing your part and voting.

  • More pure leftist hypocrisy where relativism and situational ethics, or no ethics for that matter, reign. Reading between the lines – capitalism fine as long as it benefits the left. Everything the does not aid or benefit the left is evil. In their eyes.

  • I always wonder about these zillionaires who denounce capitalism but made their money through capitalism and refuse to give away all their Money to the poor. Get out if your mansion and give away all you have and not other people’s money. No credibility here
