ANCHORAGE CITY GOVERNMENT IS ALSO SPENDING TAXPAYER DOLLARS ON PRIDE PARADE
The Municipality of Anchorage is spending taxpayer dollars to organize a parade entry into the Pride parade, which is for support of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, and other sexual identities. The parade is an annual event in most communities, celebrating sexual variations. In San Francisco, it often features naked people walking down the parade route.
“Join Team MOA in the Anchorage Pride Parade,” says the flyer announcing the city’s sponsorship.
This year’s “Pride Month” is sure to be filled with a host of anti-Trump and anti-conservative activity, in Anchorage and around the state. It begins June 1.
But there are some pre-Pride month activities in Alaska, such as the one being sponsored by the Alaska Children’s Trust.
With the support of millions of dollars of State of Alaska funds, the Alaska Children’s Trust is sponsoring a Trans Youth event to kick off Pride Month. ACT is providing seed money for the new organization, Alaskans for Trans Youth.
That kick-off event is May 29 in Fairbanks, as shown on the flyer above (red arrow added by MRAK editor).

Isn’t this a donation given through the PFD..I think it is on that “zillion” listed activities you can volunteer to give a portion of YOUR PFD.. If you don’t give, at least you’re not donating..anyway, otherwise I hate the idea od any donation from our taxes be givein to such a ??program.

All joking aside, since the above mentioned sight would be very disturbing, I think I will pass on the “Tolerance and rainbow parade” and stay home. There is lawn to mow and weeds to pluck after all.
I used to support LGBT functions in the past. However, with how radical their whole movement has become, I have decided to boycott anything and everything associated with them. It is as sad state of affairs. I used to really enjoy their festivities and freedom of expression. Now I see it as a hostile religious dogma. Any business with any rainbow flag or woke ideology slogans will not receive any more of my support. They have fatigued society with their perceived oppression. Enough is enough with these clowns.
Something that is satisfying to know is they cannot reproduce naturally and will eventually die out. They can only attempt to indoctrinate and propagate unnaturally like a virus. The strong minded shall not be affected and the youth who are tempted will eventually mature and out grow this fad.
A few questions that may be on everyone’s minds though, is how is it possible for there to be so many blob humans in existence? Is it vaccines? Is it poor genetics through their parents being hooked to pharmaceuticals? Is it the eating to crappy foods due to being poor? Where did all these genetic misfits come from?
We need to find the source to the desecration of our society and eliminate it!

This unfortunately is not as black and white as it seems. From my brief perusal of ACT website they deal with many issues, among them child abuse and poor educational performance/outcomes. In those areas we need all the help we can get. That being said, our governor does have line-item veto power and he can certainly reduce the amount of funds going to this organization.
And what is your interpretation of child Abuse??…In this case, they call it child abuse because parents won’t stand up to this garbage they teach and don’t agree with it being shoved down their children’s throats, therefore they’re brainwashed to thinking it’s child abuse..Poor educational performance is the child’s confusion and stress is caused by this being pushed upon the child..
We could solve a lot of problems in this country by eliminating ALL government funding to nonprofits, NGOs, etc. Yes, I realize that would include some conservative entities. An entire sector of society is living off those grants and entitlements. We’d be better off if it all just stopped.

If you are a charitable organization, or one that is not performing services that support ALL taxpayers, you should get no funding from the taxpayers. None.

You have 50 organizations listed there. Of the 50, only a handful are actually helping the community at large. If they are, in fact, providing vital services that the public wants, perhaps they should charge a few dollars to cover the cost of their services? If they cannot remain fiscally stable selling their services, I would say their services are not actually needed.
I agree, CB. There is nothing stopping any American LEGAL citizen to donate to any non profit charity they wish.
Not one thin tax payer dime should go to any of them. Our founding fathers spelled that out clearly.
It matters if I want them to remain open or not. What matters is that there will be zero Government funding to any of these from now on. They need to survive on their own if they were truly vital.
I’d cut public funding to ALL of them. They should be privately funded, or not exist, as the market dictates. Simple as that.

Jen. I wonder if you could specifically and exactly define the difference between sexual variations and sexual perversions. Be colorful. Talk about sexual acts like oral sex and between two men or two women. Is it a perversion to have sex between a 18 yo woman and a 50 yo woman? Or is that a variation? I suppose consent creates a definitional wall, but what else? Any ideas?
None of those subjects should be discussed to children in the classroom.. .unless it is only a sex education class.
