Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-IA) unveiled shocking allegations involving President Joe Biden and his son Hunter today.

Grassley stated that an FBI informant claims to possess over a dozen audio recordings of conversations related to an alleged $5 million bribery scheme with Ukraine.

According to Grassley, the FBI informant’s claims were documented in an “FD-1023” file currently in the possession of the FBI.

The file has been reviewed by members of the House Oversight Committee with redactions. It makes references to the audio recordings. Grassley argued that the information contained in the file should be made public, urging transparency and accountability in the face of such serious allegations.

Working closely with Oversight Chairman James Comer (R-KY), Grassley emphasized that efforts were underway to uncover further information related to the alleged bribery scheme.

Comer, after threatening to hold the head of the FBI in contempt of Congress, has exercised subpoena power to compel the FBI to disclose additional details regarding the allegations.

“The 1023 produced to that House committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversation with them. Seventeen such recordings,” Grassley said in a speech on the Senate floor. He said he has personally seen the document with fewer redactions than what oversight panel members were given.

“According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses 15 audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden,” Grassley said. “According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then-vice president Joe Biden. These recordings were allegedly kept as a sort of insurance policy for the foreign national in case he got into a tight spot. The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden.”

According to the Society of Former Special Agents of the Federal Bureau of Investigations, “FD-1023 is the form our special agents use to record raw, unverified reporting from confidential human sources (CHSs). FD-1023s merely document that information; they do not reflect the conclusions of investigators based on a fuller context or understanding. Recording this information does not validate it, establish its credibility, or weigh it against other information known or developed by the FBI in our investigations.” More explanation of this incident at this link.

This latest revelation follows a series of controversies and scandals surrounding the Biden family, particularly related to their business dealings overseas. The allegations of a bribery scheme involving Ukraine was suppressed earlier by the previous management of Twitter, the social media company.

  1. Bribery is one of the few things specifically listed for impeachment.

Can’t help but wonder if the Trump indictment came out just it time to take some heat off Grandpa Badfinger.

    • Do you think?
No… I am sure it is a total coincidence the two things happened simultaneously. Nothing to see here.

  2. Hm, it would appear that the corrupt traitor in the White House turned out not to be Trump, but Biden!

Maybe this will turn out to be an elaborate hoax cooked up by a Republican political campaign and given legs by the FBI, CIA, and media to mislead the public for years but I doubt it.

  3. I would like to know the date on the FD-1023 form as well as the dates on which the facts contained in the form became known to the FBI. From that information, a plan can be developed to investigate and potentially prosecute the obstruction of justice by the FBI personell involved. This has been a white-wash from day One and Director Christopher Wray knows it. The Director may want to think about retaining counsel and explaining the situation to his family.

  4. I certainly don’t want to hear that our President is a sell out and a traitor, I also doubt that Sen. Chuck Grassley is a Rep. Adam Schiff and full of shiffffffffT

  5. My guess is nothing but lip service will be the outcome. Everybody knows the legal system is tilted one direction.

  6. Joe Biden has been a criminal mind all the way back to the 1970’s. In the Senate for 40 years, vice-President for eight years and now President, has conditioned him to shrug off any allegation or assertion about his behavior. A very arrogant man. Biden has been on the take most of his life. The 2020 election was riddled with fraud. Biden could never win in a straight up election. Interesting that Democrats spend all of their time denigrating Trump, but I haven’t heard any Democrat actually supporting and complimenting Joe Biden’s leadership. Democrats know that their man is a phoney, a fraud, a cheate, a liar, and…..didn’t fairly win the presidency.

    • I guess you must know something that SCOTUS, several Republican Secretaries of State and Governors and multiple Federal judges don’t. Quit being such a snowflake and admit that Trump lost the election. Go ahead, it’ll be OK.

      • I would bet you have snow. You’re the one that needs to look in the mirror.you could very well wind up on a train to a federal resort.

      • Trump did lose the election. That is not in question.
What is in question are about a million things that happened in November 2020 that are being actively dismissed by pretty much everyone who will remain in authority. I have never seen such a large number of people try to pretend that everything was perfect, nothing to question at all, and then declaring that anyone who does point out something weird is just participating in the “Big Lie.”
The harder they claim the Emperor’s new clothes are magnificent, the worse they look.

          • Can’t really make a ‘kool-aid’ reference when the crimes happened right in front of our eyes. If you close your eyes and drive through a red light, you still drove through that light, even if you claim that you ‘did not see it’.

    • Here, here, Lakreesha. All of these obsessed Trump-hating Democrats are silent when it comes to talking about their current president, Joe Biden. It’s as if they all know he’s one giant scumbag and a phoney. He’s running this country into the ground, but the America haters love him only because Trump is not currently in the White House. What granddad doesn’t admit the life of a little granddaughter? Joe Biden is one evil SOB and a miserable excuse for a man.

      • …..that’s why Joe hides behind Dr. Jill, who in my opinion is an elder abuser and a super liberal, power-hungry nut job in her own right.

  7. Good for Senator Grassley. I bet the corruption within our Government runs far deeper than we can imagine. It’s only because Joe and Hunter are such sociopathic knuckleheads that we learn of their activities.

  8. I saw this on TV tonight. If these tapes are produced and are real, we will have to see an impeachment process. And this will far overshadow any other even taking place. My guess is that the CIA and the other alphabet agencies will move heaven and earth to bury these tapes if they exist. But I remain hopeful.

  9. Republican Party is doing nothing to stop Dementia Joe or his son Hunter.
We no longer has one set of laws for all. But a double standard one for Democrats and
    one for Conservative.

  10. Grassley needs to get off of his narrow ass and do something. I’m not sure I want Harris in there though. If that happens, we should Lock and load and hunker down. 99 Red balloons.

      • Sadly you are correct. Harris would have us overrun or surrendered in less than a week. It’s strange how these things happen, but it is predicted and ultimately something that must happen if we’re ever going to make it as a species. It just turns my stomach for it to happen now.

  11. Trump’s phone calls are not alledged, they are public record. In Trump’s case he is innocent until proven guilty, apparently it is the other way around for the Biden’s with “alledged” phone records.

    • We don’t need the phone records. We have the hundreds of flagged bank transfers to dozens of shell companies, funneling $millions to at least 10 members of the Biden family. We have the bribery details from the Biden laptop.

Why did those foreign entities pay the Bidens over $10 million at least? Did they pay taxes on those $ millions?

    • The left has already convicted Trump without a trial. He is already being deemed guilty. Far more actual evidence for wrong doing by Biden. Literally the proverbial ‘caught red handed’ if it is real. So is it to just be ignored?

    • Trump’s phone calls are public record.
Curiously, even the most adamant Trump haters in Congress, including Pelosi, did not see enough there to use it in their impeachment efforts. If the call he had with the GA Sec of State was really an attempt to strong arm them into overturning the election, Pelosi would have had him out of office before the end of November. But, turns out the phone call was basically innocent. Had Trump asked the Sec of State to find him a pony it would have been equally damning.

      • You have a very unusual interpretation on how impeachment works, note that the perfect phone call was not documented until after Trump left office. Trump will see indictments from the State of Georgia before summer is over.

    • Frank, we have bank drafts here showing 7 figure payments from the Chi-Coms to the Biden’s, what for Frank?

As for audio, we also have video of the little girl hair sniffer, AKA Your Man Joe Biden, bragging about how he took down that Ukraine Prosecutor, no linkage of course to the bribes he allegedly received, right? Are you not even a little bit curious? Hopefully so.

      • Is ignoring the FD-1023 which is a raw unverified report deliberate? Note that Comer has not subpoened the whistleblower he claimed to know

  12. I wonder, if and when the paper tiger of these titillating alleged recordings are found to be hearsay, that there would be substantial consequences for Mr Grassley and his cohorts, unlike that ‘innocent’ faux pas with Mr Comey and Mrs Clinton.

When folks invoke the two-tiered justice, it seems they somehow do not recall the previous executive has blatantly gotten away with more than four years of in-your-face criminality.

    • You act as though Ms Clinton is it innocent. She destroyed those blackberry phones and obstructed Justice. She was blatantly loose with classified information. History may even tell that she was guilty of the Benghazi cover-up. Let’s not talk about her foundation that’s only about 33% functional towards needy folks or the fact that the state department had millions of dollars on accounted for especially after her husband was in charge of the coffers for the Haitian refugee fund. I don’t think you even want to go there. You’re not a man hater are you?

    • There better not be.
Not unless there are substantial consequences for Adam Schiff, who claimed to have personally seen the evidence of Russian Collusion condemning Trump. And, I want to see substantial consequences for Liz Cheney as well for her laughable charade on the Jan 6th commission.

    • Mrs. N,
Are you making reference to Donald Trump? Because if you are, kindly list one criminal act, like a bribe, or gross negligence of duty, you know like Biden in Afghanistan or his idiotic blowing up of the Nord or his plenary support for a bunch of kleptomaniac’s in Kiev, or his intense desire to serve the Chi-Coms over our best interests. I’m not really fond of Trump either but please find a real crime he committed while in office, just one please, not some gibberish you heard on Rachel Madcow.

At some point you have to be an American and not a neo-con, Maga Trumper or Democrat, all of this political theater becomes meaningless in comparison.

  13. The fact that the FBI has been “investigating” the Bidens for almost 5 years now should tell you where this “investigation” is going – nowhere! The fix is obviously in. Political corruption is out of control in the USA.

  14. Well we heard Trump committing crimes on tape. Get those tapes and let’s hear them. Till then we’ll going on Republicans detachment from reality I am skeptical.

  15. It’s really telling how many people on both sides are willing to burn down America over Donald Trump.

  16. These are the prepared remarks of Mr Grassley. This is what he says. As someone who’s heard some whoppers from him before due to ignorance on his part, I wonder how much we can make of his assertions.
Until there’s actual prooff, then it’s a classic case of ‘he said, she said’ at the highest level in the land, but still HSSS; “Prepared Floor Remarks by Senator Chuck Grassley of Iowa ‘The Biden Justice Department and FBI Continue to Hide Information from Congress and the American People June 12, 2023’

“Last week, I came to the Senate Floor to give a speech about the Biden Justice Department and FBI playing games with the American people by hiding the FBI-generated 1023 document from Congress.
Director Wray was going to be held in contempt for refusing to produce the 1023 that I told Chairman Comer about. Then, instead of contempt, the FBI committed to showing the 1023 and related documents to Congress.
So, the FBI showed but didn’t provide possession of that 1023 to the House Oversight Committee last week.
As the public knows that 1023 involves an alleged bribery scheme between then-Vice President Biden, Hunter Biden and a foreign national. The same allegations that Chairman Comer and I made public on May 3 of this year.
And on the same day that the FBI provided a redacted version of the 1023 to the House Oversight Committee, the Justice Department announced that former President Trump had been indicted and charged with 37 crimes relating to his alleged mishandling of classified records.
Attorney General Garland signed off on prosecuting Trump for conduct similar to what Joe Biden and Hillary Clinton engaged in. Two standards of justice in this country will turn our constitutional Republic upside down. Thanks to the political infection within the Biden Justice Department and FBI, we’re well along the road for that to happen.
This senator will do all that he can to fight that political infection. And you fight it by bringing transparency to what the government does. The public’s business ought to be public. Transparency brings accountability.
With respect to the 1023 shown to that House Committee, from what I’ve been told by folks who’ve reviewed it, it’s filled with redactions. So, Director Wray placed redactions on a document that’s already unclassified.
More than that, the FBI made Congress review a redacted unclassified document in a classified facility. That goes to show you the disrespect the FBI has for Congress. On a previous time on the Senate Floor, I asked my fellow senators what’s so unusual about an unclassified document being given to the public, when on May 18 of this year, there was leaked to the New York Times a classified document and even the name of a confidential human source. So, we’re kind of in a strange situation here. A classified document can be leaked to the New York Times, but an unclassified document can’t be made public to 300 million Americans.
Accordingly, Congress still lacks a full and complete picture with respect to what that document really says. That’s why it’s important that the document be made public without unnecessary redactions for the American people to see.
Let me assist for purposes of transparency.
The 1023 produced to that House Committee redacted reference that the foreign national who allegedly bribed Joe and Hunter Biden allegedly has audio recordings of his conversations with them. Seventeen total recordings.
According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses fifteen audio recordings of phone calls between him and Hunter Biden. According to the 1023, the foreign national possesses two audio recordings of phone calls between him and then-Vice President Joe Biden. These recordings were allegedly kept as a sort of insurance policy for the foreign national in case he got into a tight spot. The 1023 also indicates that then-Vice President Joe Biden may have been involved in Burisma employing Hunter Biden.
So, as I’ve repeatedly asked since going public with the existence of the 1023, what, if anything, has the Justice Department and FBI done to investigate?
The Justice Department and FBI must show their work. They no longer deserve the benefit of the doubt. It’s clear that the Justice Department and FBI will use every resource to investigate candidate Trump, President Trump and former President Trump.
Based on the facts known to Congress and the public, it’s clear that the Justice Department and FBI will use every resource to investigate candidate Trump, President Trump and former President Trump. Based on the facts known to Congress and the public, it’s clear that the Justice Department and FBI haven’t nearly had the same laser focus on the Biden family.
Special Counsel Jack Smith has used a recording against former President Trump. Well, what’s U.S. Attorney Weiss doing with respect to these alleged Joe and Hunter Biden recordings that are apparently relevant to a high-stakes bribery scheme?
Getting a full and complete 1023 is critical for the American people to know and understand the true nature of the document and to hold the Justice Department and FBI accountable.
It’s also important for asserting constitutional congressional oversight powers against an out-of-control Executive Branch drunk with political infection. Remember, Congress has received 1023’s in the past and they’ve been made public. So asking for this 1023 to be turned over to the American people to read is not unusual.
Congress owes it to the American people and the brave and heroic whistleblowers to continue to fight for transparency in this matter and make this document public without unnecessary redactions.
I want everyone to remember, that I have read the unredacted version.”
