Public testimony opportunities for Monday and Tuesday

On Monday, HB 105 is the topic of another public hearing in the House Education Committee, where it has been greatly opposed by some teachers, LGBTQ advocates, and others who want to protect the sexual education curriculum and ensure parents are not advised about it in Alaska public schools.

The testimony, however, is actually going in favor of HB 105, but many who favor it are writing in their comments, rather than subjecting themself to possible violence from LGBTQ advocates by showing up at the hearings.

Another bill, which adds gender identity to protected classes, will be heard in Senate Labor and Commerce.

  1. Getting the bill title correct would bring people into testify.
    .
HB 105……..An Act Protecting Children From Perverts, Groomers, and Pedophiles in Alaska Public Schools.
    .
Now watch the testifiers line-up in support.

    • Now there’s a bill title that will embarrass the Committee members and the House Speaker when it’s ready across the Floor.
      ?

  2. How about working on funding education, or less PFD instead of culture wars adding administrative costs?

    • Don’t care to fund that kind of education after watching the mentally disturbed teachers testifying last week. And we didn’t start this culture war. It was started by the screaming clowns who think they can push their unpopular agenda by screaming and threatening violence against anyone disagreeing with them.

  3. Pay attention to SB 61. Note the radical left wing democrats sponsoring this crap and recognize this is a huge step in the wrong direction. A true whittling away of our voting rights.
