Do you think anyone will get 51% on Election Day first choice or will every race go jungle and be decided by third and fourth round choices. Liberals win everyone else loses.
That is a lot of Mayor candidates. Is it really worth it for a lot of them? Right now there are only Three candidates that Anchorage voters (the few thousand who are more likely to vote out of 280,000) will recognize by their billboards.
I wondering if its a strategy flood one particular race so one particular candidate is more likely to win?
All I can say, is with so many candidates, this will become a easy race for more of the same. Unless it becomes a race between two opposites, it’s going to be easy for more of the same. Those who don’t want more of the same will be split by the other options, ensuring more of the same. The Democratic Party in Alaska has a great advantage; unity. The Republicans are so divided that they they still support people like Lisa and support anyone who claims their party despite their actions or history. And most conservatives have a poor voting record. I will not be surprised if that liberal lawyer Dumbar actually wins. Since our Governor has done nothing to correct our corrupt voting system, the low turnout for elections combined with ballot harvesting, I really won’t be shocked at all. What is needed now is strong participation from the group that has habitually been quiet. That’s right, the private sector. And the public sector that is tired of the Unions telling them how to vote, being forced to pay their dues in order to have a job that they don’t need Unions to protect because they are competent. Half of these rinos are being thrown in to mix our vote. Time for leadership. Time for Bronson. If he could be trusted to be a Captain of the worlds largest aircraft for so many years, he certainly can run a city. And better than another bureaucrat
Until the monkeys demand an end to the mail in voting, you’ll get what you deserve. As the dementia’d one would say…”Period”.
And I’m not talking about absentee, so don’t even try.
