Don’t ask about Parkinson’s disease, White House tells press corps

White House Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre clashed with reporters during Monday’s press briefing while dodging questions about published reports that a renowned Parkinson’s disease expert visited the White House several times this year.

Citing White House visitor logs, the New York Post reported that the visits by neurologist Dr. Kevin Cannard of Walter Reed Medical Center included several with President Joe Biden’s personal doctor, Dr. Kevin O’Connor.

The revelation came less than two weeks after Biden’s poor debate showing against former President Donald Trump renewed concerns about his declining cognitive abilities and his ability to remain in office and serve another four-year term.

Biden is seeking reelection against presumptive GOP nominee Trump.

During the sometimes hostile back-and-forth, Jean-Pierre refused to acknowledge the visits or even confirm Cannard’s name.

Visibly frustrated with Jean-Pierre’s earlier non-answers, CBS reporter Ed O’Keefe shouted: “It’s a very basic, direct question. That’s what you should be able to answer by this point.”

“No, no, no, no, no,” Jean-Pierre responded. “Ed, please. A little respect here. Please.”

Jean-Pierre continuously cited security and privacy concerns for not answering the questions.

Biden, 81, has shown visible signs of decline throughout his presidency, which were punctuated by Special Counsel Robert Hur’s final report on his investigation into Biden’s mishandling of classified documents after he left the White House following his term as vice president under Barack Obama.

Hur declined to charge Biden, but his report highlighted Biden’s trouble remembering things, including the year his son died.

“In his interview with our office, Mr. Biden’s memory was worse,” according to the report, as The Center Square previously reported. “He did not remember when he was vice president, forgetting on the first day of the interview when his term ended (‘if it was 2013 – when did I stop being Vice President?’), and forgetting on the second day of the interview when his term began (‘in 2009, am I still Vice President?’)”

The Hur report continued:

“He did not remember, even within several years, when his son Beau died. And his memory appeared hazy when describing the Afghanistan debate that was once so important to him.”

Since the debate, when Biden repeatedly stuttered and faltered, and at times became incoherent and trailed off, many Democrats have stepped forward calling for him to step aside from seeking reelection.

  1. Some libs have stated they would vote for bribem even if he was in a coma, fact is everyone knows he isn’t running anything he’s just a puppet for the marxists pulling his strings.

  2. Republicans should stop talking about the presidents health until after he gets the nomination. The last thing we need to do is pressure Joe Biden to drop out when he clearly is the weakest candidate against Trump.

    • Nailed it. the democrats should not be allowed to replace Biden this late. Who else would they pick?
The wicked witch of the midwest? Governor Nuisance? Cackles the clown? If Biden “wins” this time, literally no one will believe it. If they get to replace him, they will have a new candidate to cheat in.

    • What’s scary is if Biden wins (which there is a strong possibility), the VP takes over in a health event which would be Kamala. Would she be replaced? Possibly. This same scenario is how Hitler came to power.

  3. It’s all kosher theater. A vote for any candidate means you voted for an aipac funded and approved candidate.
Biden drops out, kamala is aipac approved. Vote for Trump, that’s an aipac candidate. Vote for RFK Jr, that’s an aipac approved candidate.
Go down the ticket. 99% of all candidates down to local council are all aipac approved candidates.
Mentioning this gets replies calling you an antisemite in the comments.
It’s been all aipac approved candidates since their foundation, but things get worse every election cycle for everyone not involved with aipac or funded by aipac.

  4. I say, let the dimwit criminal run! It’ll be a hoot😂😂😂😂
The democrats are like the fat kid eating chocolate in the original Willy Wonka🤪

  5. The lying thing that has a hairdoo that looks like a mop on her head refused to name the doctor who visited the White House. She said we did not deserve to know the name, meanwhile, the doctor’s name appeared in White House visitor’s logs eight times. Dr. Kevin Cannard is the neurologist who has visited the White House eight times.

Almost every week Biden leaves the White House for Delaware- at great expense. Visitors who see Biden in Delaware do not have to have their names appear on a visitor log…

Biden has had two brain surgeries already. Neither of those operations added to his IQ…

  6. Negotiations are already underway between the Clinton and Obama wings of the democrat party. Hillary has recommended that she be the nominee with Kamala as the VP. Stephanopoulas has stated he doesn’t see Biden lasting through another term. Jon Stewart has sad that Biden’s excuses are BS. Nadler’s saying that he will support Biden because he is the nominee is damning by faint praise. While the Clinton side of the party is more vocal, the Obama side is mostly silent. There is plenty of time. Things don’t have to be settled until August, when whoever gets to be the nominee will have enough of a honeymoon with the press to carry them through the election. Will it be Hillary or Michelle, or a compromise like Newsome? Stay tuned.
