Commonwealth North invites the public to join a panel discussion titled “Alaska’s Housing Shortage: The Factors That Cause It & The Levers We Control” on Thursday, August 27, 4:00–5:30 PM.
The panel will discuss various factors impacting Alaska’s housing shortage such as State and municipal legislative decisions, utility hookup charges, zoning and permitting, and land availability. “The line between what we can change and what we can’t is where this conversation begins,” states the event’s organizers.
Six speakers will present for ten minutes each on their unique perspective on the issue, followed by a moderated Q&A:
