I voted Dan George
Yes on school repair (they are starting to finally downsize)
Yes on roads & fire trucks
No on everything else.
I got my stupid ballot in the mail, but never bothered to send it in. Nor will I.
I do not trust a mail-in ballot as far as I could throw it into a homeless camp.
The entire corrupt and fraud-laden system is an abomination.
Sounds like your vote is yes to the status quo.
That’s just dumb.
I hate mail-in and want it gone.
But Bronson won w/ mail in, when the assembly despised him & the Muni unions were against him.
Also, mail elections can not be changed unless we change the assembly first.
Wake up.
I don’t know about anyone else but, the number of ads on Instagram that Erin Baldwin-Day has been posting caused me to take a look on ADN to see wuzzup with her. In her ads, she’s very vague as to what makes her boat float but, on ADN, I found everything anyone would need to know NOT to vote for her. She’s basically a Meg Zalatel-like homeless advocate and, if so, could do the same grifting that Meg did and does.
Here’s a blurb from the Candidate Info portion:
“I’m Midtown Anchorage born and raised, and returned to Anchorage in 2009 to raise my own family here. Over the past 15 years I’ve dedicated myself to cultivating community resilience and innovative solutions in a variety of roles, including policy advocacy, community organizing, nonprofit management and pastoral leadership.
I currently convene the Anchorage Housing Club, which advocates for abundant housing and human-centric development. I cofounded and organize with the Mutual Aid Network of Anchorage, a human-powered safety net ensuring our neighbors stay warm, fed, housed and connected.”
Hmmm… “Community Organizing, non-profit management; Human-centric and human-powered.” I didn’t even touch on her zeal for a “temporary sales tax” and desires to rezone property in order to stuff more homes into parts of town where no one wants them. How about Alternative Dwelling Units? Look up that little known piece of information. In fact, your neighbor could be adding one to their lot and you’d have no recourse to stop them.
I won’t post all of her views and opinions but, if the aforementioned wasn’t enough, when asked to grade Mayor LaFrance and the current Assembly she answered: A and B+ respectively. If all of this is truly what this woman thinks, she’ll be pumping more funds into the homeless plight and making sure they’re supplied with matches and propane to blow up their camps, free housing, clean-up services and, hey, why not throw in flashlights and bolt cutters so the “unhoused” can obtain all of the stolen property they can set fire to.
Justing adding another bit of reference material for anyone thinking of voting for Ms. Barack Jr. and, a quick clarification: Accessory Dwelling Unit not Alternative DU.

No on everything. The last thing MOA or Suzanne LaFrance needs is more of our money. Show us some results then we can talk.
I don’t think we need an Erin Baldwin Day. Actually, I would prefer that we have fewer holidays. What has she done to deserve it?
