As of Friday evening, 48,724 votes have now been counted by the Anchorage Election Office following Tuesday’s municipal election. The numbers as of 6:10 pm Friday have changed slightly from the first count on election night, but the winners have not changed. With 48,724 of 235,546 (20.7% of electorate) ballots counted so far, the results are:
North Anchorage – Assembly District 1, Seat B
- Chris Constant 64.77%
- John Trueblood 23.46%
- Nick Danger 11.76%

- Jim Arlington 42.50%
- Scott Myers 57.50%

- Dustin Darden 4.06%
- Anna Brawley 57.76%
- Brian Flynn 38.18%

- Travis Szanto 44.95%
- Felix Rivera 55.05%
Assembly District 5 Seat H
- Leigh Sloan 40.64%
- Karen Bronga 59.736%
Assembly District 5 Seat I
- George Martinez 56.11%
- Spencer Moore 43.89%
Assembly District 6 Seat K
- Rachel Ries 44.51%

It’s ok, our “public servants” are well fed & happy and will have plenty of money to move out of the stinkhole town they are creating. And that’s what really counts.
Only 20% of the ballots have been counted? What the heck is going on here? Why the chronic procrastination? We used to get 100% of the ballots counted on election night. Now it takes a month to count them. This does not inspire confidence in election integrity.
It’s says that the ballots counted so far are 20% of the electorate, as in, everyone who is allowed to vote. Not all of them voted; most of the ballots are counted.
It is sickening to see the deep disrespect for the US Constitution and the amount of people on the assembly who do not believe their job is to secure and defend our Constitutional rights. Nothing else they do matters if they do not know that is what they are required to do. The assembly are uncurious about our Constitutional rights are let alone defend them. SD to say. Nor is there a forum for us to inform them of rights which are needing to be secured and defended by their actions. We cannot see the agenda or get one word in edgewise. Completely failed but expensive municipal corporation.
So revolting.
