This helps? Nancy Pelosi endorses Galvin for House

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has blown the cover off the “independent” label for Alyse Galvin, who is running for Congress against Rep. Don Young.

In a new ad on Twitter, Pelosi crows about Galvin, saying the candidate is now part of the House Speaker’s “Red to Blue” club.

Whether Pelosi had done any polling in Alaska to see if this was a wise move is a closely guarded campaign secret.

But most polling of the Pelosi name in Alaska has revealed she is among the least popular names in politics.

Galvin has presented herself as an independent but ran on the Democrat Primary ballot with the full support and endorsement of the Alaska Democratic Party.

Last time she ran, in 2018, Galvin purposefully distanced herself from Pelosi, telling reporters she “will not be supporting House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) for speaker and instead wants ‘new leadership.'”

  1. Yesterday, Galvin was toast. Today, she is burnt toast. Tomorrow, she will be burnt toast scraps in the toaster pan.

  2. Probably won’t work to Galvin’s advantage, but she still can run, and should be considered, as an Independent. She’s not tied to the Dems even if they think she’s the better choice.

    • Oxymoron definition is – a combination of contradictory or incongruous words (such as cruel kindness); broadly : something (such as a concept) that is made up of contradictory or incongruous elements.

      Democrat-backed independent challenger Alyse Galvin

  3. If she’ll air her families most personal dirty laundry in public to get a leg-up politically, just think what she’ll do when swimming the swamp with creatures like Mark Zuckerberg. Kiss your social media data privacy goodbye. Kiss your medical data privacy goodbye. Kiss your credit data privacy goodbye.

It’s all for sale in Galvin’s swampy world.

    • Facebook is a privately owned platform. No subscribers are forced to disclose any private information; they do so completely voluntarily. If you “kiss your data privacy goodbye” that is your choice. You are free to make that choice or not.

  4. The problem with lying about who you are is that you need to keep your narratives separate and that can become “complicated.”

  5. Listen to her last radio advert, try to count how many jobs this poor creature’s had.
    .
Takeaway is she probably can’t keep a job.
    .
…which means a government job could be all that’s left.
    .
…which kinda suggests few take Alyse as seriously as Alyse takes Alyse.

    • “Poor creature”
Wow. That is evocative. When I hear those ads now, that’s all I will think of. Certainly someone we should take compassion on, but not elect to high office. There’s something broken there and a desperation a desire for this seat to fill some void in her, that is both pathetic and frightening at the same time.

    • Listen to Don, try to count how many times this poor old senior has used an email.
      .
Takeaway is Don probably can only keep one job.
      .
… which means a government job could be all that’s able to handle.
      .
…which kinda suggests few take Alaska as seriously as Don takes Alaska.

      • You’re Dean of the House, you don’t worry about e-mails, you got people who do that.
        .
Good point, Congressman Don’s one job seems big enough for two or three regular people to handle… and he’s been on it since the Jobs Lady was what, 7?
        .
        Hope he keeps it.

  6. Of course she endorsed here…they own identical scarves so they are like scarf sisters or something

The Lefts Hubris will be their undoing along with how rational citizens are growing tired of MSM Propaganda

  7. In my experience, Independent means Democrat.

Simple test. Ask your average independent when they last voted for a Republican candidate for any office. Prepare to wait a while.

    • I’ve been an independent since I turned 18 in 1972. I have never once voted for a Democrat. Even as an 18 year old I knew Democrat politicians were very bad people. 1972 was also the first time I voted for Don Young. And in 2020 he’ll get my vote once again.

  8. Fundamental difference between the left and right sides of the political aisle.

The left is all about controlling, it is all about flipping states from Red to Blue. Right there in the endorsement, it is not about what is best for the people, it is about getting a majority in the House and making yet another State solid blue.

Granted, the right side of the political aisle is not much better, but I have yet to see an organized effort to turn Blue states Red. If the GOP showed up with a hashtag of #bluetored, the news media would eviscerate them.

  9. And watching her commercials she can’t seem to hold a job. Why would anybody want to elect somebody who has worked at so many different jobs. It seems like she has a problem, besides being a liberal.

  10. Nothing better for Don Young than having Nancy Pelosi endorse Alyse Galvin. When I see Galvin’s ad on TV telling us her Dad broke her mother’s arm, it reminds me of what my grandmother would say: “Alyse keep your dirty laundry in the basket and tell us what your policies will do for WE the People

    • Then Marge, tell what Don’s policy does for WE the People, so far I haven’t seen much, beside talking about a beer virus, not wanted to learn how to use any digital tools…

      • You probably watch fake news if you don’t know Sir When 5 Democrat Mayors from the Iron Range in Minnesota are standing up and voting for President Trump because he is bringing jobs back there., it is more than a snow blizzard.. No one I knew on the Iron Range voted for anyone but a Democrat and they did nothing but turn that area into a third world country. The Mayors’ comments were: We didn’t leave the Democratic party, they left us.

  11. Pelosi’s endorsement of Joe Kennedy III really did its magic. For the first time in 75 years, a Kennedy running for office in Massachusetts lost. And let’s not forget Pelosi’s utter hypocrisy when it comes to endorsing a Democrat primary challenger, which Kennedy was. But when AOC talked about primarying those Democrats who she thought needed replacing, Pelosi was all up in arms about it. The rank hypocrisy of Democrats never ceases to amaze me. No way do I want to send someone to Washington who will ally herself with Nancy Pelosi and all the other Democrats who want to burn America to the ground. Don Young was good enough for me in 1972 and he’s good enough for me in 2020.

  12. I”m sure Pelosi never met Galvin or even heard of her for that matter. Galvin is desperate for national support. One email is all it took. Two peas in a pod!

  13. Is this the same woman who can’t hold a job for very long? I worked since I was 13 and I don’t think I held nearly as many jobs as she had. I can count on one hand how many jobs/positions I held in the last 35 years. This is not impressive, nor is this an impressive resume’. She clearly can’t stick to one thing for very long. I will vote for Don Young again because I know at least he’ll stay the course and be there for us as he always was.
