Donald Trump Jr. was spotted by Juneauites at McGivney’s sports bar in downtown Juneau, where he was waiting out weather so he could go on a hunting trip on Admiralty Island with local guide Keegan McCarthy, owner of Coastal Alaska Adventures.

It was part of a trip auctioned off in February — a Sitka black-tailed deer and duck hunt in Southeast Alaska, which sold for $150,000, the proceeds going to Safari Club International, a nonprofit hunting organization.

Trump Jr. is the author of “Triggered, How the Left Thrives on Hate and Wants to Silence Us,” published last year and debuting on the New York Times Nonfiction Bestseller List.

He is a son of the president who has been active on the campaign trail for his father for the last year and who has become a well-known social media warrior for conservatives.

  1. Hard to have any love for this guy, especially for AK, since he a big part of the catalysts that started with his tweets and conversations with the President to kill the Pebble Mine, so that his spoiled rich behind can go on those lavish, red carpet, prized hunting and fishing trips in AK. Guide makes a 150k but Iliamna and surrounding areas get the shaft on huge revenue and job opportunities. Loves the animals and environment so much, a Trout Unlimited spokesman, but has no problem killing the same animals for a picture, that he claims is so precious.

    • Coolyourjets,
I guess you don’t know how donations go a nonprofit work? Or is it a problem with that pesky reading comprehension?
      .
The guide made a donation and Don, Jr purchased the hunt. Clearly a concept you are unable to grasp while making your antihunting post.

  2. Donald Trump Jr. is very much opposed to the Pebble Mine. The guide is against lifting the Roadless Rule on the Tongass NF. Hopefully both fellows will oppose Biden coming for our guns however.

  3. Some people follow photos of celebrities a little too much. If he came to Anchorage and you could not tell the difference between him and another hairy faced Alaskan man. With his face, he could easily blend with Alaska men’s faces. Mind you, the way one looks on photo always makes them look more polished than how they appear in person.

  4. At least he’s not going hunting with Al Gross where he might have to fire his last round on the Doc, insuring Don Jr. an escape from the bear.
