Senate Super PAC backs Murkowski

22

The Senate Leadership Fund Super PAC, Sen. Mitch McConnell’s political action committee, endorsed Sen. Lisa Murkowski for reelection, it announced today. Murkowski has been challenged by Republican Kelly Tshibaka.

“Senator Murkowski embodies the long Alaska tradition of effective Republican leadership that gets results for the state and its citizens. Murkowski fights for the state’s resource development economy, fisheries and unparalleled parks and wildlife. She cares deeply about the special heritage and priorities of the Alaska Native people,” the organization said.

“Senator Murkowski has also been a champion for conservative values in Washington.  She voted to confirm President Trump’s nominations of Justice Gorsuch and Justice Barrett to the U.S. Supreme Court, helping to cement a constitutional conservative majority on the nation’s highest court for years to come.  She voted in support of the landmark Tax Cuts and Jobs Act and policies to free businesses from excessive, burdensome regulations,” it said in an announcement.

” Many politicians put themselves first, but Lisa Murkowski always puts Alaska first,” said the super PAC’s President Steven Law.

The Senate Leadership Fund and its affiliates have played a decisive role in Alaska’s Senate races, helping to elect Senator Dan Sullivan in 2014 and supporting his reelection in 2020.  In 2020, SLF invested $6.9 million in support of Sen. Sullivan, to counter an onslaught of liberal special interest spending for Sullivan’s opponent.

Senate Leadership Fund was established in January 2015 by supporters of Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) in order to maintain a Republican majority in the United States Senate.

  1. McConnell and Murkowski are peas in a pod. Notice you never see any turncoat Dems, but there seems to be an endless supply of RINOs

  3. Murkowski is far from Conservative and only cares about her power not Alaskans. She needs to be sent packing from Alaska to go live where her values lie in the Swamp.

  4. You think they are bad now? Wait until Kelly Tshibaka wins the primary. That’s when the establishment GOP will really come out to help Murkowski and hurt Kelly. Just ask Joe Miller…

  5. LAWRENCE, sadly, thanks to the ‘protect Lisa act’ (Prop 2) there won’t be a primary. Otherwise you are likely 100% correct about the GOP.

  6. Murkowski jumped on the bus to destroy Kavanaugh during the kangaroo court invented by the liberals to destroy him. She has continually voted AGAINST the best interests of the state to mollify her liberal partners. She has to go.

  7. Well Murkowski is lucky McConnell likes her. At best she can count on him as a personal friend. Even criminal gang members count see one another as close friends. But! The moment you start living right, its a bullet through their chest, no praise and encouragement for right living.
I still hope There are at least three other dummy conservatives to vote beside my preferred number, cause I ain’t voting for a democrat. Until their candidates start opening up the Good Book and reading it and seeing another Truth other than their own truth, reading the whole book not skipping over the parts that speak agianst homosexuality and abortion, the democrats have no candidates worthy for even a second, third, fourth option. Most of our state leaders are all loving and tolerating us leading us into hell.

  8. We can only hope that conservatives are not confused by support from a so-called “conservative super-PAC” and that liberals are offended by such support. When you try to play the middle in an obvious morally bankrupt way with the sole aim to maintain your elected position, you can’t help but alienate both sides. Sadly, this new “jungle primary” system that many Alaskans were duped into supporting could help Murkowski. Unless each side puts up a singular strong candidate, Murkowski will likely emerge as one of the top two vote-getters. If too many conservative candidates split the vote, a Democratic Party candidate (probably disguised as “Independent”) may also emerge as one of the top two candidates. If that happens, Murkowski will probably be re-elected. We need to reverse this jungle primary process as soon as possible.

  9. ” Many politicians put themselves first, but Lisa Murkowski always puts Alaska first,” said the super PAC’s President Steven Law. ~ Could we have an example of when Murkowski has done that, Steve?

  10. McConnell always backs deep-state, commie-leaning Republicans. That’s why we have so many betrayers to constitution, including McConnell.

  11. I will give my hard earned money and time to make sure the lying, dishonest, corrupt, backstabbing RINO murkowski is not re-elected. mrukowski does not have Alaska’s morals and best interests when she votes with the dems time and time.
