Linda Boyle: The art of medicine lost over time to cash-incentivized treatment

Sir William Osler, the Father of Modern Medicine, said, “The good physician treats the disease; the great physician treats the patient who has the disease.”

Today’s healthcare delivery is based on “corporatization of medicine.”  For many doctors, the joy of medicine is lost. The doctor who succeeds is the one who sees “the relationship with their patients as an arm-length transaction,” more concerned about their private time than the patient’s comfort.

Burnout among doctors is high, for those who seek to practice wholistically, with a true doctor-patient relationship.

From my nursing perspective, the demise of medicine began under managed care where the insurance companies come between the patient and doctor. The bean counters decided on how much time a doctor needed to “treat’ a patient; what diagnostic codes led to higher reimbursements from insurance companies and Medicare; “best practice” protocols became mandated protocols; and pay for performance was based on how well you met the bean counter requirements.

The art of medicine was lost. The patients being treated are on the losing end. The winners were the providers who followed all these requirements hook, line, and sinker. They were financially rewarded, sometimes at the individual patient’s expense.

Enter the Covid years. Somehow, we moved from docking some performance pay if you didn’t meet mandated protocols to going after your medical licenses if you chose to offer different solutions than what the mainstream dictators required.

Since the beginning of Covid, state medical boards have gone after those doctors who offered alternative Covid therapies that were not in step with the mainstream beliefs. This was especially true for the use of Ivermectin during the early stages of Covid.

Oddly, state medical boards don’t like to interfere with the doctor’s right to prescribe off-label medicines to treat a disease. Instead, these boards went after whether the doctor used the proper records documenting what they did and why; or determining if they practiced telemedicine without being credentialed to do so.

It’s fascinating to me that the boards would use the lack of proper documentation to suspend a physician’s license. In my career, I have seen major errors by doctors that did not lead to such a severe punishment.

In a 2022 report, the Federation of State Medical Boards had harsh criticism of members’ pandemic treatment, citing the increase of “misinformation” on social media “has not been accompanied by any increase in accountability for those who disseminate the misinformation and disinformation.   The FSMB wanted more action taken by state boards against these doctors who did not tout the party line.

The Washington Post did a review of complaints against physicians for Covid misinformation. It received responses from 36 state medical boards. Of these responses, they identified 480 complaints involving “covid misinformation” and five doctors lost their licenses for this “egregious” action.  The article went on to state all these doctors had “other findings against them involving deficient treatment of patients.” The specifics of which were not identified.

Washington State’s medical regulator has threatened disciplinary action for physicians’ stance on Covid treatment that was not within the mainstream allowable dialogue.  Three of four of these doctors were charged for prescribing Ivermectin “to patients with covid-19 without documenting an adequate rationale, as well as making false statements about coronavirus vaccines liable to discourage vaccination.”  The fourth doctor was a pediatrician who allegedly gave up her state license under duress from her employer.

There are other states and medical certification boards still actively pursuing doctors who dance to a different drummer.

Dr. Ryan Cole, who spoke at our Alaska Covid Alliance Conference several times, has been barred by the Washington State Medical Board for prescribing Ivermectin by telemedicine. But the board was were careful to say Cole could still do telemedicine to review pathology slides.

Dr. Meryl Nass, who also has spoken at our Alaska Covid Alliance Conference several times, is still fighting with the Maine Medical Board for suspending her license.  Her crime? Prescribing Ivermectin with insufficient documentation.

Dr. Paul Marik and Dr. Pierre Kory,  two of the founders of Frontline Covid-19 Critical Care Alliance (FLCCC), recently had board certifications revoked by the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) for leading an organization “that promotes Ivermectin as a treatment for COVID-19.”  Additionally, these doctors are offering out-of-the-box solutions for treatment of spike protein injury.

“Pierre Kory, MD, is no longer certified in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease, and internal medicine, according to the ABIM website. Paul Ellis Marik, MD, is no longer certified in critical care medicine or internal medicine. “

Dr. Nass was curious about this and checked the ABIM web page and discovered she, too, is no longer certified by the ABIM.  She was shocked. There was no notification. No due process. Nothing.

That sure as heck does not pass the smell test. Anyone who is losing something as valuable to their career as board certification should have been involved in the process. But that is the big boot of the government.

Take a short trip down memory lane with our good doctors in Alaska. You may remember after our first Covid-19 Conference in 2020, local physicians were infuriated about the “misinformation” being spread. These nearly 150 physicians signed a petition to the Alaska Medical Board wanting harsh action to be taken. Fortunately, our board did not buy this dribble. The board rightly refused to approve the complaint regarding “misinformation” by our courageous Alaskan doctors.

Do you think the Covid hysteria is over? The above doctors don’t think it is. And the government is happily telling you the new vaccine is available in time for the fall. You can go ahead and get it if you think it will help. I am sure Dr. Anthony Fauci, who has had six Covid shots and has just gotten over his third Covid episode, will be lining up.

You can continue to get educated about the ramifications of Covid vaccines and vaccine injuries.

Join us on Oct. 26, 2024, for our next Covid Alliance conference.

Maligned Drs. Ryan Cole and Meryl Nass will be back telling us about the rise of cancer and the new bird flu. They may be also willing to discuss their issues with their state medical boards.

More conference information will be coming in the next week. So, stay tuned and get ready to hear more of the truth.

  1. After 40 years of practice, I was taught that testing and imaging were to CONFIRM the diagnosis, and in fact we were evaluated and punished for overusing/abusing these services rather than our training/intellect; in fact ridiculed for shotgun medicine. Today it is the opposite, as so many young providers I encounter have no idea what it means to make a diagnosis by LISTENING and EXAMINING the patient rather than ordering a battery of expensive tests.
Furthermore, on COVID: I lost one lucrative job for refusing the poisonous vaccine, another when it was discovered that I personally took Ivermectin after exposure (I did not become sick), and the most lucrative job of my career for refusing to give Paxlovid to a mildly symptomatic, otherwise perfectly healthy young patient. Paxlovid for every COVID, or you’re fired. I work for a community clinic now.

    • I hope that your community clinic supports your stance with this upcoming plandemic trying to start! It is encouraging to find doctors willing to work according to the truth and not the lies that the narrative is pushing.
May our Heavenly Father’s blessings be great for you in your work!

    • AK, your comments are spot-on. We would love to have you come to our next event on October 26th at the Egan Center. More details this next week on our web page: ‘www.alaskacovidalliance.com. Thank you.

  2. You are so correct ! Many Patients and Health careworker mislead.. : These Physician and Health Care provider, who are well accomplished. Then Betrayed by their colleagues, for using critical thinking Skills. It show how The Politician, Big Pharma and Insurance company place their weight on critical thinkers. So sad 😢😢😢.

    • Anyone with awareness could see long before Obamacare that there was a beast medical establishment prowling around looking for skin covered money bags to pick up.

  3. I was sitting in the back hallway of the facility where I work, with another woman, having coffee, just after breakfast. Suddenly four men rushed t the entryway and began yelling about a fellow having a seizure. We found the young man, about 22 YO, laying on the floor presenting a petit-mal seizure. His skin was grey, covered with enormous drops of sweat, he was cold to the touch, with almost no heartbeat. While she called for EMS, an AED, O2, the nurse and a supervisor, this man, who was super fit (would do 1000 burpee’s just for fun), gave his death rattle and died right in my hands.
We began mouth-to-mouth and compressions, we brought him back from the dead. To this day he wears a cheap pacemaker on his side.
His crime? He took his fist covid shot the day before. Myocarditis. Don’t take the shot people. Don’t do it.

  4. Thank you for sharing this information about the next Covid Alliance Conference on Oct. 26, 2024!

People, if you did not attend the last conference, I encourage you to go! The last conference in Anchorage was information-packed on a variety of topics and well worth the time to go, learn, and meet new people.

  5. Thank you, Linda! Well written & tragically true. The idea that what was being pushed had an incredibly insufficient evidence base still makes me shake my head at how readily so many were unquestionably compliant & then wildly hostile with those who disagreed- as if I couldn’t go to different providers today with the same complaint & get prescribed different treatment protocols. It makes me equally mad & sad at the same time! Keep up the good work! It is not always appreciated but it is 100% NECESSARY!

  6. I’m
Disappointed in the entire medical establishment. Its only mission is to relieve us of as much money as possible. You know those $65 aspirin if you have insurance and it’s $3 if you don’t.

  7. Thank you, Linda for helping free Alaskans from “the love of money” driven aspect of Big Pharma’s tyranny, so Alaskans can be prosperous, healthy and not be taken advantage of!

The American Medical Association was started by John D. Rockefeller over 100 years ago to make medicine a business model, not a wellness model. Today, with full support of the mainstream media, government and social media companies (except Twitter and Rumble) they have almost a total monopoly on telling Americans what works and what does not. They even lie through their medical journals, which rig reports to push their often dangerous drugs/vaccines they patent and make $billions from, and discredit off-label drugs and key, low cost, natural solutions like vitamin D, which anyone can manufacture.

You highlight Dr. Pierre Kory, a leading expert on Ivermectin, who wrote a 312 page book on this wonder drug. Amazingly, when asked by Del Bigree what he would do if he were head of Health and Human Services in July of 2022, Dr. Kory said the first thing he would do is to get Americans’ vitamin D levels above 50 ng/ml. He also said “90% of our population is deficient,” which is crucial for Alaskans, because of our low sun angle, so we can only get vitamin D from the sun from May until August. He said (transcribed by me):

“If I were ever put in charge of the response to this, FIRST THING I would have done: a national public service campaign telling all the doctors to check the vitamin D levels of all their patients, and put them on a replenishment protocol, getting those levels above 50 [ng/ml]. If you had just done that simple thing, the government knows, and they’ve known for decades that in some estimates, 90% of our population is vitamin D deficient. And that’s deficient even according to their very low levels of vitamin D. Had we done a national vitamin D replenishment campaign , that would have changed the face of this [sweeping his hands to his sides, palms down, like an umpire signaling ‘safe!’].” – Dr. Pierre Kory, July 14, 2022

Dr. Pierre Kory: A national VITAMIN D campaign to get levels above 50 would have changed the face of Covid!

Five months later, he said on Sen. Ron Johnson’s forum:

“Like I said, this country needed a national vitamin D campaign. Everybody should have had their vitamin D levels checked. We should have had a replenishment protocol for everybody. That would have been one of the most simplest and safest, and one of the most potent ways to protect ourselves from the morbidity and mortality. We did not do that.”

Dr. Pierre Kory @ Sen. Johnson’s forum (Dec. 2022): A national VITAMIN D campaign could have protected us from Covid mortality. The only thing they recommended was Tylenol

Many Alaskans now know about Big Pharma’s recent war on Ivermectin, but don’t know about their decades long war on vitamin D. He told Tucker Carlson:

“Vitamin D has been one of the most attacked substances over the last three or four decades by the pharmaceutical industry.” Tucker asked: “why?” Dr. Kory responded: “It threatens the disease model.”

Alaskans would be far healthier and much less Big Pharma dependent, plus being less scared if they took enough vitamin D.

Dr. Kory told Tucker: “They’re terrified of vitamin D,” because it threatens their disease model [Rockefeller’s business model].

Dr. Pierre Kory w/ Tucker: “BIG PHARMA is TERRIFIED of VITAMIN D — it threatens the disease model. We should have had a vitamin D supplementation campaign nationwide [for Covid]; would have been very easy to do. … What they’re doing to Ivermectin they’ve been doing to vitamin D for decades”

It’s a DISGRACE that FEW WOMEN in Alaska know this fact about vitamin D for breast cancer! Us Alaskans need to tell Alaskans, because “love of money” driven Big Pharma won’t do it.

Analysis of 70 Studies Finds 71% LOWER BREAST CANCER RISK with VITAMIN D Level of 60 vs. 20 ng/ml
    ‘http://tobefree.press/2022/10/25/analysis-of-70-studies-finds-71-lower-breast-cancer-risk

Many Alaskans talk about the real benefits of Ivermectin for Covid, thank God, but foremost, we should all make sure our vitamin D levels are high enough. D is a hormone that modulates the immune system, helps overcome about 100 illnesses, depression, etc..

It’s the simplest thing we can do to help Alaskans thrive. 5,000 IU gelcaps are available everywhere, and costs almost nothing. But because the white coats (experts in drugs only) don’t push it or even mention it, so we have to.

    Thank you!

  8. The American Board of Medical Specialties has had a stranglehold on physicians for years, with unnecessary recertification requirements, expenses, as well as holding influence with insurers, hospitals and state medical boards, to the point where its monopoly in Board Certification is being challenged in court.
Consider the National Board of Physicians and Surgeons(NBPAS)…

  9. Never had an issue with Covid until more people were getting the shot. They “as we now learn” were shedding. I was only around friends who had gotten the shot. Came down with Covid, no cough, no fever, no sickness except real low oxygen levels. While at the hospital, asked for treatment of either Ivermectin or Hydroxychloroquine. Doctor stated he couldn’t do either or he would lose his license. In the hospital for 8 days, but was lucky.

  10. The true white supremacists are those who wear the lab coats of the same color. They assume because all day they work with the ill that all people are ill and that they somehow hold medical authority over all people.

Starve the beast. Take care of your own health.

  11. Beware of some of these Alternative physicians — they are also in it for the money and not compassion for the patient.Always buyer beware!

  12. Artists versus actuaries.
    .
Great job of explaining from a professional’s perspective what happens to customers and providers when their elected representatives encourage one to subsume the other.
    .
This thing, as the author describes it, seems like an aggressive, metastasizing, inoperable tumor, thriving symbiotically with its host, America’s care providers and customers. It’s evolving into something autonomous, using money to control the host’s very existence.
    .
Whether it’s allowed to evolve unchecked into an inoperable oligarchy controlling Americans’ existence more ruthlessly than a constitutionally limited government could ever do remains to be seen, no?
    .
Nurse Boyle’s and others’ stories of free-speech suppression, livelihood loss, treatment denial, patient abuse, professional libel, etc., etc., suggest the growth of this thing might be checked with large, continual doses of anti-trust, color-of-law, restraint-of-trade, RICO, libel, and slander litigation
    .
… until injured parties draft a model federal law to fix the problem and persuade elected reps to sponsor it.

  13. Any informed discussion about what has devolved with the original intended implementation of the ACA is necessary especially with involvement of the ‘middleman’ interfering with the decisions of credentialed providers.

Anecdotal stories about COVID shots are not helpful to the cause of less COVID deaths, however.

    • Why not?
      .
One would think a healthy sense of “caveat emptor” would be rather helpful in saving one’s life.
