GOP platform: Secure borders, tax cuts for workers, curb inflation, grow energy dominance, end weaponization of government against citizens

Republican co-chair Michael Whatley, Alaska Republican Party Chairwoman Carmela Warfield, GOP co-chair Lara Trump, and Alaska National Committeewoman Cynthia Henry are in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. for the Republican National Convention.

The Republican National Convention meets in Milwaukee, Wisc. starting Monday, but the platform committee has been busy crafting the party platform that will be voted on next week.

The first item on the platform, after the preamble and other aspirational statements, is securing the border. Second, is to deport people illegally living in the country. Third is to end inflation and make America affordable again. Fourth is to make America an energy powerhouse again.

Here’s the list of topics in the draft platform:

  1. SEAL THE BORDER, AND STOP THE MIGRANT INVASION
  2. CARRY OUT THE LARGEST DEPORTATION OPERATION IN AMERICAN HISTORY
  3. END INFLATION, AND MAKE AMERICA AFFORDABLE AGAIN
  4. MAKE AMERICA THE DOMINANT ENERGY PRODUCER IN THE WORLD, BY FAR!
  5. STOP OUTSOURCING, AND TURN THE UNITED STATES INTO A MANUFACTURING SUPERPOWER
  6. LARGE TAX CUTS FOR WORKERS, AND NO TAX ON TIPS!
  7. DEFEND OUR CONSTITUTION, OUR BILL OF RIGHTS, AND OUR FUNDAMENTAL FREEDOMS, INCLUDING FREEDOM OF SPEECH, FREEDOM OF RELIGION, AND THE RIGHT TO KEEP AND BEAR ARMS
  8. PREVENT WORLD WAR THREE, RESTORE PEACE IN EUROPE AND IN THE MIDDLE EAST, AND BUILD A GREAT IRON DOME MISSILE DEFENSE SHIELD OVER OUR ENTIRE COUNTRY — ALL MADE IN AMERICA
  9. END THE WEAPONIZATION OF GOVERNMENT AGAINST THE AMERICAN PEOPLE
  10. STOP THE MIGRANT CRIME EPIDEMIC, DEMOLISH THE FOREIGN DRUG CARTELS, CRUSH GANG VIOLENCE, AND LOCK UP VIOLENT OFFENDERS
  11. REBUILD OUR CITIES, INCLUDING WASHINGTON DC, MAKING THEM SAFE, CLEAN, AND BEAUTIFUL AGAIN.
  12. STRENGTHEN AND MODERNIZE OUR MILITARY, MAKING IT, WITHOUT QUESTION, THE STRONGEST AND MOST POWERFUL IN THE WORLD
  13. KEEP THE U.S. DOLLAR AS THE WORLD’S RESERVE CURRENCY
  14. FIGHT FOR AND PROTECT SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE WITH NO CUTS, INCLUDING NO CHANGES TO THE RETIREMENT AGE
  15. CANCEL THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE MANDATE AND CUT COSTLY AND BURDENSOME REGULATIONS
  16. CUT FEDERAL FUNDING FOR ANY SCHOOL PUSHING CRITICAL RACE THEORY, RADICAL GENDER IDEOLOGY, AND OTHER INAPPROPRIATE RACIAL, SEXUAL, OR POLITICAL CONTENT ON OUR CHILDREN
  17. KEEP MEN OUT OF WOMEN’S SPORTS
  18. DEPORT PRO-HAMAS RADICALS AND MAKE OUR COLLEGE CAMPUSES SAFE AND PATRIOTIC AGAIN
  19. SECURE OUR ELECTIONS, INCLUDING SAME DAY VOTING, VOTER IDENTIFICATION, PAPER BALLOTS, AND PROOF OF CITIZENSHIP
  20. UNITE OUR COUNTRY BY BRINGING IT TO NEW AND RECORD LEVELS OF SUCCESS

DEFEAT INFLATION AND QUICKLY BRING DOWN ALL PRICES

The party commitment to Americans on the economy:

  3. Secure borders, tax cuts, and ending weaponization of government? It’s like a political superhero flick!

  9. The GOP has dropped any mention of abortion in this platform. How very convenient to no longer make stopping Americas greatest evil a priority for social conservatives!!

  10. Eye roll. I can make a neat list of things I won’t accomplish too. I have zero faith the Republicans will accomplish any of this, based on the current leadership of the party, which seems more interested in retribution than anything else.

    FYI – the US produces the most oil in the world right now, 30% more in December than the next largest producer, Russia, and nearly 50% more than Saudi Arabia.

  11. The Alaska Constitution also needs protection. SCO 1993 should NEVER have been signed.

    Alaska is a concurrent mandatory P.L. 280 State since 1958. Our Alaska Native children, grandchildren and vulnerable individuals need protection too.

    We need our Congressional Team in Washington, D.C. fighting to protect all Alaskans and all our resources. Alaskans need a strong military presence here.

  12. US Energy Information Administration lists USA at 22%. Saudi Arabia at 11%. Russia at 11%. America is already Great. We can make it Greater.

  13. There will always be complaints from monday morning coaching who say their coffee is too hot or their ice cream is too cold.
    I would be more disappointed if they sat on their thumbs and did nothing while Democrats blast aways at America like a “runaway train high on cocaine” as Jerry Garcia became popular singing in the “good old days”.
    It is high time GOP steps up to the plate and derails the train.
