Breaking: Tulsi Gabbard endorses Donald Trump

Former Democrat Rep. Tulsi Gabbard of Hawaii has just endorsed Donald Trump for president, saying he will keep America out of endless wars.

“I am committed to doing all that I can to send President Trump back to the White House,” Gabbard said.

Gabbard ran for president in 2019 and is known for her brilliant take-down of Kamala Harris during a debate in which she criticized Harris for jailing hundreds of people for marijuana violations while she was attorney general of California, but bragged about her own use of pot. Harris went on to win not a single delegate vote that year and quickly dropped.

“She put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana,” Gabbard said of Harris during that debate.

Gabbard left the Democratic Party in 2022, declaring it an “elitist cabal of warmongers.”

Watch her endorsement at a in Michigan on Monday at the National Guard Association rally:

Her endorsement comes on the heels of an endorsement by another Democrat free-thinker, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who left the Democratic Party last year.

  1. And yet she remains a committed Progressive. An economic and political faith based ideology. An ideology wholly dependent on fractional reserve banking. Fractional reserve banking is a ponzi scheme. A scheme that passes on debt from one generation to another, until the final generation collapses under the burden. But before that occurs, a war is started to divert attention away from the hoax. A financial reset begins, and new players are dealt a new hand.

    • It won’t be about the input, it will be the numbers of blue dogs passing on endorsements. Figure it out. This election will be too much of a landslide ro steal.

    • On the contrary, Tulsi Gabbard appeals to young women, a demographic brainwashed into thinking that killing your unborn child is THE MOST IMPORTANT issue this nation faces. Tulsi can address that narrow focus and broaden it from a woman’s perspective. That can have a great impact and while I do not agree with her politics, I do respect her for understanding the danger to the nation a continuation of the Biden policies brings.

        • Where’s the problem? Isn’t that what you want when you folks shout for diversity and inclusion? You asked to be seen, you asked to be accepted, you demanded to be allowed to show off your fetishes for a full month out of the year, so when we start paying attention in earnest, you tuck tail and run the other way barking at us as if we are intruding on your privacy.

          Make up your mind man.

    • Mark and Jeff, and what pray tell determines value in your estimation?

To say Tulsi isn’t worth much begs the question.

Many of us value Tulsi and her thoughts, integrity and opinions and yes, her service…

I’m sure the same could be said of Kamala in Willie Browns estimation, but beyond that, what do you have?
      I’ll wait for your reply.

      • This is all from Wikipedia. I chose the assertions that I thought would most piss you off. Became a republican in 2022. She’s from a mixed race family. She has no children (unknown if she has cats). She’s not a Christian, did you know that? She’s a Hindu.
In 2017, Gabbard introduced the Off Fossil Fuels (OFF) Act, which sought to “justly transition away from fossil fuel sources of energy to 100% clean energy by 2035”.

Gabbard’s presidential campaign received endorsements from David Duke (KKK) and Richard B. Spencer,(neo-Nazi, antisemitic conspiracy theorist ) which she disavowed.

Gabbard was the only candidate with primary delegates to not be invited to the 2020 Democratic National Convention.

Gabbard has often supported the causes of Native Americans and tribal lands, such as her support for the Standing Rock Sioux Tribe against the construction of the controversial Dakota Access Pipeline in 2016,

Gabbard supports a national healthcare insurance program.

In 2019, Gabbard introduced H. Res. 766, which would censure Trump for several of his foreign policy decisions and “send a strong message to this president and future presidents that their abuses of power will not go unchecked, while leaving the question of removing Trump from office to the voters to decide”.

Gabbard was a member of the House LGBT Equality Caucus. She received ratings of 92%, 88%, 100%, and 84% for her four congressional terms for pro-LGBT legislation from the Human Rights Campaign, a group that advocates for LGBT rights.

Gabbard is an American Samoan from Hawaii and a lifelong surfer. She is a yoga enthusiast. She has mentioned being a vegetarian, though some sources have reported her as a vegan. She follows the Vaishnava tradition of the Hindu faith, and values as her spiritual guide the Bhagavad Gita.

        • So you can cut and paste with the best of them. Good for you! BTW who is writing Mark or Jeff?? You refer to yourself as “I” in your comment.

Moving on, just because one does not agree with a person’s politics, does not mean they can not respect them as a person for their accomplishment simply because they associate with a different party. In the end we are all Americans aren’t we?
You are upset that you have deserters amongst your prominent party faithfuls. They have expressed to no longer support your wacky ideologies and demands, giving those in your voter base with similar impressions permission to jump ship. That’s what you are really worried about and so you malign in the strongest term to avoid hemorrhaging more supporters. (The same people totally ignored when it came time to chose your candidate)

          • Swing and a miss there taxpayer. Your speculation about what worries me is not anywhere close.

Here’s something that bugs me. Typical of conservatives, you make strong statements as if you know they are true. You’d impress us all if you used terms like could be or maybe. You’d come off as more believable.

        • Jeff and Mark,
Great research for your book report. Wikipedia is a junior higher’s source for advanced research. Good job.
Gabbard is pro LGBTQ. Should be a winner for you two. Let’s get together and hash this out. We love Gabbard. I guess you two are in a monogamous relationship. Ok, keep in touch.

          • Have you researched the source of your homophobia. We’re you sexually abused as a young boy?sorry if you were, really. I’ve seen the lasting emotional trauma.

            • Perhaps it is not fear of you being gay, but disgust at how you use your status as some kind of shield from criticism.

No more protected classes. If you as an individual cannot stand on your own merit but have to rely on social justice umbrellas for validation , then maybe you aren’t worth the rest of us standing up for you either.

  2. Tulsi has about 5X the brain cells of Kamala Harris. Bobbi…..and now Tulsi. How many others are running away fast from the Democrat Party?

  3. That was a heart-felt endorsement by Tulsi Gabbard. Just beautiful. I am glad to see that people across the political spectrum are beginning to come out and acknowledge that a Harris/Walz team will destroy this country and that we need to come together as one unit against them to save our country.

  4. I think LTC Gabbard has done more in the service of our country than most who post on here. That includes me. She also has experienced what happens when you buck the system.

Things change, people change, mistakes get made, and if we are lucky we can rectify them.

While I’ve been fooled few times, I feel she is being as genuine as a politician can be.

    Waiting for some stone throwing.

  5. She gave a good speech. Tulsi was in Iraq in 2005 when there was a lot of fighting. She wants peace and an end to all of these pointless wars. It takes guts and disgust with your former party to do what she has done. It may kill her political career, but she elected to do it anyway. Good for her!

    • Agimarc, good analogy about the Pirate Ship. Interestingly President Jackson , a fellow not unlike DJT reportedly enlisted the aid of Pirates at the battle of New Orleans.
      Somethings never change.

  6. Wow! The list of deplorable’s is getting so long!
Hillary, could you please provide us with a larger basket to fit everyone in at once?
And Grandpa Biden, please tell us another bedtime story about how dangerous MAGA is.
I long to hear you yelling again to let us know how angry you are when you shake your fists during your wonderful speeches King Obama prepared for you.
