The Alaska Mental Health Trust Land Office’s 2026 Fall Land Sale Auction is now open, with final bids due by November 16, 2026, at 4:30 p.m. (AKST).
This year’s land sale auction includes 45 parcels in locations across Interior, Southcentral, and Southeast Alaska that will be sold to the highest bidder. All revenue generated from Trust land sales supports the Alaska Mental Health Trust Authority’s work on behalf of Trust beneficiaries across the state. Beneficiaries of the Trust include Alaskans experiencing mental illness, developmental disabilities, addiction, Alzheimer’s Disease and dementia, and traumatic brain injuries.
“This year’s fall land sale has a diverse selection of parcels both on and off the road system, as well as some waterfront offerings,” said Jusdi Warner, Executive Director of the Trust Land Office. “Trust lands support Trust beneficiaries; all proceeds from the sale of Trust land help fund programs and services for vulnerable Alaskans. If you are interested in land for a cabin, home, business or as an investment, I encourage you to explore the listings and to submit a bid before November 16.”

Policies and procedures for the auction as well as instructions on placing a bid can be found on the webpage referenced above. Following the bid acceptance period, sealed bids will be opened on Wednesday, November 18, 2026, at the Trust Land Office. The highest bidders may either make a lump-sum payment or use TLO financing (eligibility requirements apply).
