Trump unscripted for one hour: U.S.A. close to major economic depression and world war

Donald Trump, in a general press conference at Mar-a-Lago, said today that the Biden Administration has no clue how to handle the growing global troubles coming at America from all directions.

“Our country right now is in the most dangerous position it’s ever been in from an economic standpoint and a safety standpoint. We have a lot of bad things coming up, you could end up in a depression of the 1929 variety, which would be a devastating thing, took many years, took decades to recover from it and we’re very close to that and we’re very close to a world war.” He said the current administration has no clue how to handle any of it.

Trump spoke for an hour, taking questions randomly from reporters without having to refer to the cards given to him by staff with the names of who to call on, as President Biden did when he held his rare press conferences. Trump was unscripted for over an hour with the hostile mainstream media.

Kamala Harris has yet to hold a press conference, 14 days after the Democrats kicked Biden off the ticket and elevated her as the nominee. This was Trump’s first press conference since he was nearly killed by an assassin in June at a rally in Butler, Penn.

Some of the other statements Trump made included:

He said the presidency “was taken away from Joe Biden…and I’m no Biden fan,” confirming that in his mind, as in the minds of many, the Democratic Party staged a coup and forced Biden out.

He reminded reporters that Kamala Harris never received a single delegate vote for president when she ran in 2020. “She never made it to Iowa,” he said. “We have somebody that hasn’t received one vote for president and she’s running.. Kamala’s record is horrible. She’s a radical left person at a level nobody’s seen.”

Trump proposed three debates next month with Harris, saying he will beat her because she is barely competent.

“The other side has to agree to the terms,” he said. “They may or may not agree. I don’t know if they’re going to agree. She hasn’t done an interview, she can’t do an interview. She’s barely competent and she can’t do an interview. But I look forward to the debates because I think we have to set the record straight.”

Asked by a reporter if he is concerned about the enthusiasm shown during rallies for Harris.

“Oh, give me a break,” Trump said. “Listen, I had 107,000 people in New Jersey. You didn’t report it. I’m so glad you asked. What did she have yesterday — 2,000 people? If I ever had 2,000 people, you’d say my campaign is finished. It’s so dishonest, the press, and here’s a great example: I had in Michigan recently, 25,000 people — and 25,000 [other] people, we just couldn’t get them in.”

He said in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, about 25,000 people showed up and another 20,000 could not get into that rally.

“We had so many. Nobody ever mentions that. When she gets 1,500 people, and I saw it yesterday on ABC where they said, ‘Oh, the crowd was so big.’ I have 10 times, 20 times, 30 times the crowd size. And they never say the crowd was big. That’s why I’m always saying, turn around the cameras. I’m so glad you asked that. I think it’s so terrible when you say, ‘Well, she has 1,500 people, a thousand people,’ and they talk about, “Oh, the enthusiasm.’ Let me tell you, we have the enthusiasm, the Republican Party, and me as a candidate.”

“He had a reason for not doing well, and he was never … the sharpest or brightest bulb in the ceiling, that I can tell you, but he could do interviews, at least not lately. He couldn’t, perhaps, but she should be doing interviews. She doesn’t want to do interviews. And the reason she doesn’t is, No. 1, her policies are so bad. I think that it’s not going to change because it’s really ultimately not about her as much as about her policies. She wants open borders. She wants to defund the police. She wants to take away your guns.”

  1. Do not think for a second the incompetence shown by the Democrats is not by design. There is not a single thing they have done (or failed to do) that does not support the WEF/COP-UNFCCC/Globalist agendas.
    .
This election is about whether the USA continues to stand as a sovereign nation, or whether we fall to the globalists. A vote for Harris is a vote for Klaus Schwab and the end of the USA. If you think you will be one of the elites living in luxury while the rest of us scratch out a living, you are wrong.
    .
    Vote accordingly.

  2. Delusional Don, full of flat out lies. No one died on January 6th, the lie detector has found that you are lying. I had the biggest, as big as MLK’s crowd, the lie detector has found that you are lying. He is so obsessed with size? The only thing he is doing large is felony convictions, and indictments.

    • “Felonies” that were only pursued by the opposition because Trump chose to run for president again. He would never have been taken to court otherwise. Plus, the incompetent, biased judge allowed for evidence to be evaluated by the jury in unprecedented ways that increased likelihood of a guilty verdict. Oh and the capitol police guided the “mob” into the capitol entrance on Jan 6. (Yet many people were injured and killed during 2020-2021 from antifa and BLM stoked riots in cities across the country all because a career criminal overdosed and resisted arrest). And the people who went in the capitol did not kill anyone. Lt. Michael Byrd, whose life was not in danger, killed an unarmed woman for “trespassing” past broken glass.

  3. More and more I’m becoming convinced Trump will lose due to the political malpractice of his team and the GOP.

Kamala is a gift that keeps giving, one they knew was gonna come. Where the hell are the ads?

Just like 2020, the campaign is being reactive and proactive, and fooling themselves rallies equal turnout.

Early voting, like it or not, starts in just a few weeks. Past time to start defining the opposition and his policies. Not to get into cat fights over what color she is/was/may be.

    • I’m actually OK with Trump’s comments regarding Kamala’s shapeshifting identity at the black journo event. The comment ‘she’s not really black’ was geared towards shaving off 10-15% of the black male vote.
It makes the weasel Ben Shapiro types queasy as a bonus.

Would I bet the farm on peeling black voters away from the Democrats? Probably not, blacks in this country are already paid far more cultural attention than their numbers warrant.

But I’m not Trump, and he has committed this this strategy long ago.

  4. Trump will be able to use this press conference as evidence he’s mentally incompetent to stand trial. Damn that was painful to watch.

  5. I watched him bloviate, it only further confirmed to me his unfitness to lead. More of the same ol same ol from Trump. Trump is so enormously incompetent, self-absorbed, and delusional that he is forcing me to vote for the other party because I don’t want this buffoon anywhere here the presidency (again). Believe you me, I’d much rather have a conservative in the White House, but my options are a complete clown, and a, if not extreme, a well to the left, lefty.

Maybe it’s time the Republicans got serious about their candidate, Trump is not a serious person.

    • So, you have confidence in leaders who cannot complete a sentence, call out for dead people, get lost on the stage, fall down, word salads, and a host of other maladies. Remember how good things were in 2019? I sure do.

      • I don’t, that’s why I’m glad Biden dropped out. Now Trump is the most senile candidate.

I dunno where you’ve been, but I’ve been doing pretty dang well in the markets, retirement savings up. Much as I don’t like Biden, I haven’t suffered under him.

  6. I am inclined Trump (as I would never vote for communists), but I have two very troubling math problems that no pol is talking about. Maybe because there is no ready or easy answer, but ostrich-ing ones head in the sand will only lead to further ruin.

First problem is the number 1.6. That is the current replacement rate in our country, far below 2.1 required to simply stabilize the population. How do we encourage marriage, family formation and child rearing in a sea of economic and cultural degradation and degeneracy?

The second problem is 1 trillion in new debt every 100-120 days. There is no recovery from this by continuing business as usual. If we have not already hit the iceberg of national bankruptcy, we are very close. Kicking the can by printing more money will only increase the inflation rate which is already brutal. What would your leadership do to solve this existential question?

  7. The sky is falling! The sky is falling! Only I can save it! So what else is new, Donald?

I’ll tell you what’s new: you’re falling behind in the polls and the gap is widening every single day. People want hope and optimism, and all you can give them is ominous prognostication, threats of global catastrophe, nonsensical bullsh*t, and bitter recrimination. You’re going to lose, Donald. You’re going to lose.

And then at long last, you will be gone and we will be freed from your odious and malicious influence.

    • And our country will be bankrupt & destitute. Actually it’s already bankrupt. People like you make it morally bankrupt. The united state of America is on its ass because of spineless bastards like yourself whidby. You are a jack jaw. It’s all your fault. Your and yours alone.

      • Please, Sir, go get some anger management counseling. And Wow!, how your (probable) Christianity really shines through! Maybe you should also have a chat with your Pastor.

  9. Rather than relying on press reports and opinion pieces, I sat down and listened to the Donald’s press conference from beginning to end. My main take away is that he remains excessively focused on the past. Obviously, he says a lot of negative things about his opponent and those that he believes have wronged him. (For the record, he has been wronged in several instances.) He is highly selective on facts and wrong sometimes. That said, he has a relatively quick recall of the things he wants to talk about. This is in sharp contrast to Mr. Biden. Recommendation: Delete about half of the backward-looking stuff and negative comments about Harris and include instead some new (positive) stuff about the future of the country. If he made that change, he would be doing much better.
