Melania Trump has joined the campaign trail. She will be present April 6 at a fundraiser that is being billed as the largest single fundraiser of the 2024 presidential campaign cycle so far, to be held at Mar-a-Lago. It is predicted to raise tens of millions of dollars for the Donald Trump campaign.

On April 20, she will host an event for Log Cabin Republicans, a group of gay Republicans known as “the nation’s original and largest organization representing LGBT conservatives and straight allies who support fairness, freedom, and equality for all Americans,” according to the group’s website.

The group did not endorse Trump in 2016, but endorsed him in 2019, a year before the primaries.

Log Cabin Republicans has state and local chapters nationwide, full-time staff in Washington, DC, a federal political action committee, and state political action committees. The group’s website says: “Log Cabin Republicans are LGBT Republicans and straight allies who support equality under the law for all, free markets, individual liberty, limited government, and a strong national defense.”

Log Cabin Republicans have a “proud history of fighting to build a stronger, more inclusive Republican Party. LGBT Republicans and straight allies have chosen to transform the GOP from the inside, working to overcome the forces of exclusion and intolerance.”

The name of the organization refers to the first Republican President of the United States, Abraham Lincoln, who was born in a log cabin.

When the organization was founded, the name, “Lincoln Club” was already taken by another Republican group, so organizers settled on calling themselves Log Cabin Republicans.

“President Lincoln built the Republican Party on the principles of liberty and equality under the law. The party should return to its roots,” the group says.

The Log Cabin Republicans will launch its 2024 “Road to Victory” initiative during the event at the resort in Florida, which is owned by the Trumps and is where they reside.

  1. Clear the tables! Trump will be hosting “judiciary night” for the Log Cabin boys at Mar-a-Lago. Who knows, in the spirit of “brotherly love,” D. J. Trump might suggest “Roger, Roger!” as the theme for the next Southern Baptist Convention.

  2. Trump is by far the Best Candidate for the Republican Party, he has experience in losing elections, businesses, wife’s, lawsuits. That experience will come in handy later this year.

    • Yeah, yeah, for sure, Retard! Trump and Biden–deadheads for your choice of pied piper! Whistle along with the old farts, Retard!

      • And, you are working with or supporting… who exactly… that is younger and more dynamic to run for President?
        .
Don’t like seeing two old farts as your only choice, do something about it. Or, show up here and whine. Your call.

        • Now you’re talking through your “bonnet,” old man. The deep state knows that you and your nodding cohorts can be used and abused as compliant fools! And just as we know that there is no difference between BS and CBM, there is no significant difference between the nodding and the woke–fools, fools, and, yet, more fools!

  3. Melania’s husband has full control of his thought process, is in good physical health, and is a nice person. Jill’s husband is a feckless lying coward, in severe mental decline, a mean-spirited tyrant and ………… a person who doesn’t have a clue what’s going on in his country. The choice is so obvious.
    .
Go take care of your sick husband, Dr. Jill, and quit being an abuser of Alzheimer’s stricken seniors.

    • Wow, you’ve drank the kool aid! Good physical health? right… Is a nice person? right… Full control of his thought processes? Trump can barley give one of his bloviating speeches without devolving into complete nonsense.

Not saying Biden is any better – but don’t kid yourself, Trump is mentally flailing, physically unfit, and decidedly not a nice person. Nice people don’t refer to war dead as “losers”.

      • Be kinder, Norseman: Ellen must be an old plow horse with blinders on. But if she could boil an egg as well as she can lean into a harness that would be a plus for any sodbuster.

      • Aside from one “witness” to that losers statement, and that witness has turned out to be one of the most adamant anti-Trump folks out there, where is there any proof Trump actually said anything of the sort?
Seriously, for some reason, Trump had only one person in earshot when he called dead servicemembers losers? Trump? The egotist, the narcissist? The guy who wants all the attention, somehow he was alone with one individual, and he shared that particular sentiment.
        Com’n. Get real.

        • Well, he was recorded as saying he liked to grab women by the pu**y, so it isn’t as if he holds back. I mean look at the incredibly disrespectful things he says on social media. Yeah, all those “mean tweets”, those are unfettered access to the mind of Trump. So I think the evidence is pretty compelling that he WOULD say something like Kelly reported he said.

But Trump is courting LGBTQ groups, he even paraded around with a LGBTQ flag before his first election. Pandering much? Point being – he lies like a professional con artist.

Oh wait, that’s exactly what he is.

        • CB. You are really grasping. There’s another explanation than yours: he said it and meant it. It totally aligns with his sociopathy.

  4. I think we have a lot of commie sock puppets posting here.
As for The Trumps, this is as big a mistake as endorsing the closure of society for COVID and continuing to embrace the vaccine. Trump is losing support from conservatives in these areas. I hope he wakes up.

  5. We should welcome Log Cabin Republicans and any other LGBT people who believe in some principals of liberty and the free enterprise economic system and who want to vote for Republican candidates.
    .
However, we Republicans should not be lured into thinking that we should support any form of proposed LGBT anti-discrimination laws directed at the private sector, that the Log Cabin Republicans support.
    .
All anti-discrimination laws directed at the private sector are wrong, in that they take away some basic human freedoms (the freedom to choose what we want).
    .
Anti-discrimination laws actually hurt the people that they are supposed to protect. For instance, the “age” anti-discrimination law (which affects me, since I am old (69), actually hurts old people, because it makes it harder for them to get hired, because a prospective employer may be afraid to hire an oldster like me, because he may think that he will run into legal problems if he has to get rid of me, in the event that I’m too feeble to do the job. But if he can easily fire me, then he won’t be afraid to hire me. That will give me a chance to show him what a good worker I am.

    • Roger, roger, Randy! Fun night at Mar-a-Lago on the big tables, eh? But, as close as the election is expected to be, both Trump and Biden will continue glad-handing all the “moral contortionists” that they can–the lost and damned courting the lost and damned!
