Kowalke ‘outs’ himself as pro-recaller?

Former Mat-Su Borough Assemblyman Randall Kowalke, a Republican challenger for Rep. David Eastman, says he’s in favor of recalling Gov. Michael Dunleavy, because the candidate Dunleavy is not the same as the governor Dunleavy.

Kowalke, who lives in Willow, took to social media to disclose his opinion (and to save Must Read Alaska some time, evidently). He’s taking on Eastman in House District 10 likely because he sees himself as an anti-Dunleavy Republican, while Eastman is more in line with the governor on issues such as spending and the Constitution.

Kowalke wrote, “Let the doxxing begin.” Doxxing is publishing private or identifying information about a person on the Internet, typically with malicious intent, according to Wikipedia.

  1. Let the doxxing please not begin. We are two candidates running for the same office, that is all. While we hold opposing positions on many issues, I do not support subjecting Assembly Member Kowalke or his family to harassment of any kind.

    • Good of you Mr. Eastman to take the High Road on this. Doxxing is a very Low Brow tactic designed to harass and shame people for the opinions that they may hold rather then discussing & debating the issues. A version of bulling really. Do note: That the way I read Mr. Kowalke’s statement he is fine with this form of attack against you and your family and probably is aware that you & your supporters will not stoop to that level. Keep up the good work.

  2. Is there no end of the loons that populate Alaska politics? Randall needs to put down the bong and think about what a fool he is making of himself. If he is representative of the GOP in Alaska then we are well and truly hosed.
