Alaska Republican U.S. Senate candidate Kelly Tshibaka has named national political veteran Greg Manz as campaign manager, a role he will assume on June 1. Manz has served in key roles in both of President Donald Trump’s campaigns and has worked in national and state politics for nearly a decade. Tshibaka is challenging incumbent U.S. Senator Lisa Murkowski in the 2022 election.
“The Alaska Senate race is a national race with national implications, and it will take someone with the experience and instincts necessary for the big political stage. We are thrilled to welcome Greg Manz to the team,” Tshibaka said. “We already have been running an aggressive and energetic campaign and Greg will help us step it up even further just as the summer is arriving.”
“It is an honor and a privilege to join Team Kelly and work for one of the brightest and strongest candidates in the entire nation,” Manz said. “Lisa Murkowski is historically unpopular and has cast egregious votes that prove she has turned her back on Alaskans in favor of her Washington, D.C. friends. This campaign will be about restoring the voices of Alaskans to the Senate.”
Manz served as a Strategic Advisor on Trump’s 2020 campaign and was Donald Trump’s Communications Director in the battleground state of Pennsylvania in 2016. He also served as the Deputy State Director in Iowa for Dr. Ben Carson’s presidential campaign and Statewide Field Director for the Pennsylvania House Republican Campaign Committee. Manz has also been Communications Director for the Republican Party of Pennsylvania.
Manz is a magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where he played NCAA Division I men’s ice hockey, earning Hockey East All-Academic honors four years in a row.
The campaign has been doing a national search for a campaign manager for several weeks, according to sources in the campaign.
The old one was expendable why?
Because he was not helping his candidate get traction against Murky. In order to beat Murky you have romance her supporters..And, those supporters are all leftists.
Questions for Ms Kelly, what can she do for small businesses here in Alaska? What is her plan? We are hurting so bad for employees. Is there any possibility that we can hire employees from other countries.?
Odd. Alaska’s April unemployment rate remained unchanged from the revised March rate and continued to trend higher than the national average, labor statistics show. ‘https://www.thecentersquare.com/alaska/alaskas-unemployment-rate-holds-steady-in-april/article_aaa4702c-dad2-11ec-9a27-9fb4e4b4e0fc.html
It’s not the Federal government’s job (or the State) to find employees for the private sector.
What can the Feds (and State) do for you?
Cut welfare (like we did during the Clinton admin) & tell the able bodied that they have to go to work
This worked. My sis-in-law, who was home on welfare playing video poker all day, had to get a job back then
She wound up cleaning hotel rooms for 13 years, because the State cur t off her assistance if she didn’t work.
It was good for her, she walked, took buses, had money & raised 3 kids. It was very good for her health
The libs “say” they want to help the poor, but they are misguided.
“The best help program a person can access is a job” – Ronald Reagan
Enough w/ bringing in foreign labor (J-1) A large % of them stay here (visa overstays) only half our imported labor comes over the border.
Good move. I just hope he can operate in tune with Alaska and Alaskans.
Greg, Might I suggest you employ the 1975 Jessie Colter Song, “I’m not Lisa” as your campaign theme. I have run this by many , including the Candidate herself and it has received wide acceptance. Make the distinction that Kelly isn’t LISA!
Probably didn’t know what to do that’s why you need somebody on the ball that knows what they’re doing. Good luck Kelly
Kelly is a Swamp creature – examine her 20 year career in DC.
Like B3, she is a RINO, at best.
Do we want RINO’s or real Nationalists that will make America First!?!
Wake up, please – before it is too late.
Another member of the Trump personality cult. In the long-run, not the best way forward.
Alaskans are a peculiar breed of malcontents, misfits, true believers, and dream seekers. Can Tshibaka new campaign field marshal convince this motley lot into believing that Tshibaka is the real “thing” and not “on the make.” I compliment Manz for his membership in the Phi Beta Kappa society, but it will take more than a University of New Hampshire moon-walk to wow and woo Alaskan barroom brawlers and seasoned dance hall girls into some dubious, political relationship! He’ll bag the abstinence crowd for Tshibaka, but when it comes to push and shove the wild “flora and fauna” here on the frontier won’t take kindly to being schmoozed, greased up, or otherwise played for fools!
Edit (second sentence): “Can Tshibaka’s new campaign field marshal convince this motley lot…”
Yes!
