Federal judge rules against Biden in shot mandate for federal employees

President Joe Biden’s mandate for the workers in the federal government to be vaccinated against Covid was struck down by a Texas judge on Friday.

The Biden Administration cannot discriminate or punish federal workers who fail to get the vaccine. Biden had ordered the federal government’s 3.5 million workers to get the shot by Nov. 22, or get a religion or medical exemption. If not, the punishment included being fired.

U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Brown, based in Galveston, Texas, said the demand by Biden was a “bridge too far.”

Trump appointed Judge Brown, who said in his ruling that there are less invasive public health measures for federal workers, including social distancing, remote working, and masking and that it’s important to protect “the liberty of individuals to make intensely personal decisions according to their own convictions.”

According to the White House, 93 percent of federal employees have taken at least one Covid shot.

The ruling is another setback for Biden. Earlier, the U.S. Supreme Court struck down the mandate for businesses. The court upheld the shot mandate for health care workers in companies that receive federal medical payments.

The U.S. Justice Department said it will appeal the decision. Jen Psaki, Press Secretary for Biden, said the White House is confident it has the legal authority in this case.

  1. The obvious question to ask in all this is, “Why are the Feds so eager to get everyone vaccinated?”
    I’d venture to say with almost 100% certainty, it’s all about the money and has nothing to do with public safety.
    Granpa Joe has to protect the financial interests of his “friend,” Fauci.
    Not to mention Big Pharma and the connection to the CCP. (China Communist Party)
    I guess they’ll (Feds) appeal, if they haven’t already, as quick as it takes the ink to dry on the paperwork.

    • JEFF, Feds eager? It’s a world wide push and obvious with a little critical thinking that the shot is not for one’s health. The wake of destruction is getting wider each day. Check out the notoriously under reporting VAERS report. Both death and significant injuries are shockingly high on rollout. Long term affects are unknown but evidence points to crimes against humanity are being committed. There is a reported 40% increase in excess deaths in the age group between 18 and 57 after the rollout of this shot.

The same medical professionals who have almost all violated their medical ethics and Hippocratic oaths in their Covidian hysteria to bully patients into subjecting themselves to an experimental treatment without informed consent? The same medical professionals who in great numbers who openly mocked, ridiculed, attacked and refused to treat people who will not obediently bow to their authoritarian demands? The same medical professionals who have used their power to censor and suppress all knowledge of alternative and proven treatments that do not conform to the power establishment’s narratives and agenda?

What is missing from these court decisions is “my body, my choice” – if the government can mandate an injection, then we are slaves because the govt would have ownership – the right to control our bodies. While the vax is a good idea, the mandate is slavery. All the mandates and advertisement are a convenient way for brandon to hide his horrible mismanagement.

          Your statement shows thoughtfulness and compassion.
          We must speak for and protect the weakest among us.

      • How simple a justification. Controlling a woman’s body. Did you think that up all by yourself?
        Surely you realize there is so much more to that issue. But, I have read several of your comments, and frankly, they are not convincing me you are a deep thinker.

    • I agree, except with ‘the vax was a good idea.’ Because, of the timing–that is, implementing it DURING an outbreak. Very bad idea, as many were getting natural immunity and getting vaxxed after acquiring natural immunity will lead to terrible consequences downrange in regards to immune system reactions. The adverse effects (antigens effect on various organs and neurological issues) of this are just beginning–and will be accelerating over the next several years.

  3. Am I the only one who completely does not trust the numbers of those “vaccinated” (sic) as reported by the federal government or any federal agency? I strongly suspect (i.e., assume) that those numbers are inflated as propaganda, in order to make those who have not taken or will not take the clot shots to feel that they are in a small minority, when in actuality they are probably not. This is classic propaganda technique, by the way — make those who refuse to conform to the establishment’s demands or programs feel isolated, “weird”, or smaller in numbers than they really are.

  4. There will be others enjoining this, as the court declared the govt action to be ultra vares; the impact of this will be enormous as it focuses on unconstitutional overreach. On steroids…
