For years, leftwing media and social media accounts have repeated a lie, that former President Donald Trump said that there were sone “very fine people” who were neo-Nazis and white supremacists at a Charlottesville “Unite the Right” rally in 2017. Some leftist commentators at Must Read Alaska have even made the allegation.
Snopes, a leftist fact-checking website, has declared the rumor false.
“Trump did say there were ‘very fine people on both sides,’ referring to the protesters and the counterprotesters. He said in the same statement he wasn’t talking about neo-Nazis and white nationalists, who he said should be ‘condemned totally,'” Snopes wrote.
The fake Trump’s comments, Snopes said, “spread like wildfire” and were repeated by President Joe Biden in his 2020 campaign.
Democrats always play that game ……making up things their opponents never said ……..unlike Joe Biden, who says things no one can understand or decipher.

To be clear, there is no such thing as a totally unbiased journalist. However, during the golden era of journalism during the 20th century, media organizations at least tried to appear impartial. In this case, leftist journalists and politicians propagating the lies about Trump are a complete disgrace. Almost as disgraceful is the failure of journalists and politicians on the right to vociferously call out the leftist liars. Conservative media is quite feckless in this respect.
I remember Tom Brokaw On the nightly news and he was that way. I would have swore that he was a stout Republican, but soon after he retired and came out of the closet, his stripes were revealed.

Why wasn’t there some sort of protest then that he was quoted ‘inaccurately’? There’s this old saying, “can’t have it both ways” or ‘can’t have the cake and eat it, too”. Is he attempting to complicate his usual obfuscation with AI confusion? Surely, all his sycophants, such as Stephen Miller and Mr Bannon would’ve wanted that clarified and correctly reported at the time. That’s the thing specifically with that president, it would seem that he would want everything to remain nebulous and mean anything to anyone, and mean nothing at all instead of attempting to make clear what he meant.
On the other hand, USA Today reported on 17 October 2017, “Our ruling: Partly false. The claims in the post have been rated PARTLY FALSE. Following the 2017 white nationalist rally in Charlottesville, Trump did say that there were “very fine people on both sides,” when speaking about those who attended the rally in support, and those who demonstrated against it. But the meme misrepresents Trump’s statements, because he did not say directly, “There were very fine people on both sides, & I’m not talking about the Neo-nazis and white supremacists because they should be condemned totally.” The two statements were separate, the second part coming later, after further questioning from reporters. During the first presidential debate, both Wallace and Biden referenced Trump’s “very fine people” comment but did not say he applied it to neo-Nazis.”

Well, now that SNOPES (the go-to source for all leftist media “fact” checking) has spoken, I guess we can all breathe easy. Balance in the media has been restored, and there is no further need to question what you see and hear in the news.
This is all Democrats have. They don’t have the mental capacity to engage in debate for true conversations. All they can do is misquote then have their lapdog mainstream repeat it over and over.
