John Hendrix of Anchorage, Rob Yundt and Jesse Sumner from Mat-Su, and Dick Randolph from Fairbanks were among the 65 guests at the Trump National Golf Club Bedminster this week for a fundraiser for the Keep Dunleavy effort to stave off an attempted recall.

Also attending from Alaska was Walter Campbell from the Mat-Su, Brandon Spoerhase, a realtor from Anchorage, and several other Alaskans. The event, according to those who were there, was a smashing success.

Dunleavy also had a private meeting with Trump, during which they discussed the Alaska political landscape.

Yundt and Sumner, both businessmen in the Valley, are Assemblymen with the Mat-Su Borough. Sumner is also on the board of the Alaska Policy Forum. Hendrix, who operates Furie Operating Alaska, was spotted playing golf and meeting with Trump on the golf course.

Yundt said, “He visited with us for about 15 minutes. I was surprised at how much he knew about energy related opportunities in Alaska.”

The group raised multiple six figures for the Keep Dunleavy effort, according to sources.

  • Nice!!

  • Standing tall for Alaska? More like a bag of potatoes with no spine.

Fool me once shame on me. Fool me twice? Nope not voting for you again.

  • Everything Trump does is successful, (at least most of the time. He has flopped a little just to keep himself humble heheheheh).
Everything would be easier for Dunleavy if the Legislature followed their own laws. Maybe Kodiak will make a change next year giving Rep. Stutes a much needed break from serving. Hahahaha

  • Forget the recall. Do Alaska a favor and resign.

    Feckless coward.

  • Yundt said, “He visited with us for about 15 minutes. I was surprised at how much he knew about energy related opportunities in Alaska.”

I’m surprised too, coming from someone who is known to have trouble speaking in complete sentences…

  • Good to see us up there. Alaska has really been under attack since Joe and his handlers took over. Keep up the fight. We don’t want to be like Seattle or Portland.

    • Too late

  • A Fundraiser fo Dunleavy? What for?

  • 2 Thumbs up! Thank you Mr. President (The real President)! Note to self; (Election was stolen by corrupt election officials.)

  • I don’t get this, I swear MRAK was bashing the recall for getting out of state money for their cause. So now it’s ok? I don’t think there should ever be any outside money on either side.

  • MAGA!

  • We really appreciate both Mr. Yundt and Mr. Sumner’s hard work for a strong private sector in the Mat-Su. – Kennedy Family

  • Good deal!
