1. If one literally studies the US Constitution and guidance one finds that most in Alaska have meandered from the US Constitution. It has not changed. “All these truths being self-evident” don’t appear to be in evidence at all. Nonetheless, we have those words and the meaning of that day in clear and simple terms. Learned men condensed the words to simple terms. If we espouse those terms today our comments are held for review by lawyers and judges who may soon themselves be assisted to relearn the old truths that served this nation so well in the past.
